Garage Door Repair Reviews in Apex, NC (Updated July 2026)

I called Precision and had an appointment for the next morning. My tech Ricky showed up on time and did a complete overview of my garage and the issue and showed me pricing and quickly fixed the problem. He was thorough and professional. My garage had two broken springs and within an hour it was all fixed and functioning better than before the problem. Great service and very responsive.

My garage door opener stopped working late in the afternoon, and I was able to schedule an appointment for the very next morning! Richard was very polite and knowledgeable, and he was able to quickly diagnose the likely problems. I ended up with a new motor, and my door now opens and closes like a brand new door! I was very pleased with the service and professionalism, and I highly recommend that you call Precision Doors of the Triangle if your garage door opener isn’t functioning properly.

The scheduler was very attentive. The tech was very knowledgeable/professional and took time to explained the issue. He found a warranty issue and we will explore this prior to replacing the motor, per recommendation. Thank you for a timely and informative service call.

The entire process from booking the appointment to completion of the work could not have been easier. Using the web based app, I was able to make the appointment at my convenience without issue. From there, I was kept informed and reminded of my upcoming service call. The technician Chris, arrived on time and was courteous and professional. He performed his diagnostic check and prepared options for my review. He explained his recommendations and I never felt any pressure to choose one option vs. another. He was able to complete the service call and replace the worn parts. I could not have been more satisfied. I will recommend Precision Door to my neighbors.

We called Precision to repair a broken spring. We were able to setup an appointment the next day. The service Tech Ricky was timely, friendly and just wanted to make sure we understood all the steps of the process. He gave us a quote which we could do all things he was recommending or just parts. The time to fix was very reasonable. At the end of the repair he walked us through all the things he did. He shows the parts that were replaced and good thing we decided to replace our cables as they were really we’re ready to good. So thanks for the though inspection. I will continue to us Precision for all our properties moving forward.

I was able to schedule a same day appointment online to have someone come out and look at our garage door that wasn’t opening. Technician Evan Kopel came out quickly, assessed the issue and offered us a solution. He quickly replaced the springs in the opener and when completed we discussed with him replacing the opener unit which he was able to do on the spot. He was informative and did excellent work.
