I appreciate how easy it was to schedule a technician to come out. Andy was great about explaining the issues with our existing garage door opener and presenting replacement options. He worked hard to complete the install in a timely manner. He made sure I was all set up to use the system before leaving.

I would not use Precision Door Service again. One of the torsion springs broke on our overhead double door. Precision Door Service charged us $750 to replace the pair of springs, which took the technician less than 40-minutes total. When I questioned/ pushed back on the cost, which was about 2x what I expected, the technician told me the springs cost them over $250 each! I later called four other garage door businesses and learned the going rate for this common repair averages $375 total, and our standard springs cost around $100 each. After calling Friday morning, they refunded me $350 to bring their cost in line. I learned from my calling around that this is an often repeated scenario with this company - and the ease and routine manner of the refund bore this out.

Lucas Fisher did a great job installing our new doors and garage door motors with belt drive. He worked by himself. I was surprised that he had no help, but he finished in about 5 hours or so. He was friendly and polite. The doors look and work great! Highly recommend!

Great service but extreamly expensive i would shop it out. 1200. For two hours work including parts.

We are sorry you felt the cost of the repair was too expensive. Our parts are heavy duty, high cycle parts and we stand behind them. Not all companies provide the same quality parts which is why the cost is cheaper with other companies. The quote you approved included upgraded parts and a 7 year warranty so its very likely you will not have an issue with this particular service for a long time. Precision was very responsive and courteous from my initial phone call through satisfactory completion of my service request. The technician, Greg, was extremely helpful in assessing the condition of all components of my 33 year old 18’ wide garage door. He explained various options and offered professional advice. I elected to have him replace torsion springs, shaft, bearings, cables, rollers, cable reels, and to lubricate all hinges. The door now operates quieter and more smoothly than when it was new. He adjusted my existing garage door operator and verified all safety features. I highly recommend Precision Door.

Precision Overhead Door Service is an excellent choice for your garage door needs. Greg my technician was outstanding. He installed a new Liftmaster Smart WIFI unit adjusted the door, lubricated it and now it is perfect. It works great and sooo silent. I am very pleased. Very happy I called them.
