Pros: Knowledgeable, professional salesperson and great price Cons: None so far We needed to replace two garage doors and motors, so we sought out quotes from three very highly rated businesses, one of them being Precision Garage Door of Raleigh. Here is what I appreciated about my experience so far with this business: - Online booking - fast: On Sunday I went online and booked an appointment for Monday. At the same time, I submitted contact forms for two other businesses (with no online booking option). One called me back on Monday and booked a Tuesday appointment. The other called me back on Tuesday and booked a Wednesday appointment. One point for Precision. - Quality salesperson - Page Ellison: Page showed up at the expected time (after the company sent me a text in advance confirming he was on the way) and took the time to explain my options clearly, understand my priorities, and answer my questions knowledgeably, then made a recommendation based on all of this. Far and away a superior experience. One of the other two companies' salesperson essentially handed me a booklet and told me pick what I wanted. The other was good, but not great when compared with Page. - Great price - online deals: One of my priorities was a well-insulated door, and my research indicated that U-factor was a more relevant metric to look at than R-value (although I encourage you to do your own research). Of the three companies I received quotes from, this was the only one that had doors with U-factors as low as 0.106 or less. The others were closer to 0.2 or higher (with lower numbers being better). Aside from that, the doors quoted were comparable. Despite this, Precision's overall quote came in the lowest(!), largely due to a promotion they were running at the time that was advertised on their website. Based on this positive experience and apparent door quality, I have placed a deposit for the doors and motors, which should arrive in about a month. I'll update this review following the installation.

The guy who arrived didn't have the software for pricing a 20 foot door. Now almost 24 hours later I don't have a quote and no one has bothered to contact me. I think that they may have more business than they can handle.

I scheduled a consultation to see if my garage door could be modified to increase the amount of overhead clearance space available. Page and Greg were the representatives who I met with. They asked about my needs, took measurements and brainstormed different solutions to my issue. Ultimately they informed me of a very simple fix of how my garage motor could be adjusted and they offered to make the adjustment for me on the spot free of charge. Their graciousness saved me a lot of headache and time on YouTube University trying to learn how to donut myself. My garage door meets my needs now but if I ever have another issue I will definitely be hiring them. Thanks so much Greg and Page!

I was in an urgent situation because my existing door broke with both cars in the garage. I was able to book an appointment within a couple of hours and have the replacement completed the next day. Tyler did an outstanding job on the replacement. He was meticulous. Everyone I interacted with at Precision was friendly and the communication with them was excellent throughout.

Their customer service is excellent. They responded quickly to a request to check and do maintenance on our 10-year old garage door and to replace a decorative detail that had been damaged. Love their garage door installation!!!

I called them this morning looking to the repair and/or replace my garage door panels due to dents. They had someone out to my house within an hour. The gentleman was professional and honest in informing me they did not carry my brand/type of garage door; however, he went a step above! He informed me of the measurements and type of the garage door panels needed. There was no hassling to get completely new garage door. I was able to locate the garage panels somewhere else, but if you’re looking for an honest, no haggling company, this is it. If I am ever in need of a garage door, they will be at the top of my list!

I Googled garage doors and Precision was at the top and had 5 stars so I felt comfortable in contacting. When I called, a VERY NICE woman answered and addressed my questions easily. I am elderly thus so appreciated she spoke clear English ! I was surprised and pleased that she could send someone to my home that day. # Mr. Page Ellison was the estimator who came. He was friendly and very kind. I appreciated his knowledge as I knew nothing about garage doors. His genuine kindness and expertise is why I decided to buy a new door instead of having a neighbor try to reshape my damage.
