Pros: Knowledgeable, professional salesperson and great price Cons: None so far We needed to replace two garage doors and motors, so we sought out quotes from three very highly rated businesses, one of them being Precision Garage Door of Raleigh. Here is what I appreciated about my experience so far with this business: - Online booking - fast: On Sunday I went online and booked an appointment for Monday. At the same time, I submitted contact forms for two other businesses (with no online booking option). One called me back on Monday and booked a Tuesday appointment. The other called me back on Tuesday and booked a Wednesday appointment. One point for Precision. - Quality salesperson - Page Ellison: Page showed up at the expected time (after the company sent me a text in advance confirming he was on the way) and took the time to explain my options clearly, understand my priorities, and answer my questions knowledgeably, then made a recommendation based on all of this. Far and away a superior experience. One of the other two companies' salesperson essentially handed me a booklet and told me pick what I wanted. The other was good, but not great when compared with Page. - Great price - online deals: One of my priorities was a well-insulated door, and my research indicated that U-factor was a more relevant metric to look at than R-value (although I encourage you to do your own research). Of the three companies I received quotes from, this was the only one that had doors with U-factors as low as 0.106 or less. The others were closer to 0.2 or higher (with lower numbers being better). Aside from that, the doors quoted were comparable. Despite this, Precision's overall quote came in the lowest(!), largely due to a promotion they were running at the time that was advertised on their website. Based on this positive experience and apparent door quality, I have placed a deposit for the doors and motors, which should arrive in about a month. I'll update this review following the installation.

Very courteous and respectful technicians. They sent texts with their pictures and also called before coming. The office mistakenly told me the door spring was still under warranty when it was actually not; however, Precision door honored my expectation of free springs and even gave us an upgrade. I worked with Lucas earlier this year when he installed two new garage door openers. He did a great job then. He recommended, at that time, that I should replace the garage doors too. I was hesitant to do that then. But one door has been acting up lately (32 years old) and I decided that it was time to replace them At my request, Lucas came back to give me a quote to replace both doors (one larger than the other). Based upon his recommendation, I placed the order today for, what I believe is, a fair price. For the interim, Lucas made some minor repairs to one existing door to help avoid additional problems until the new doors are installed.

I came home on Labor Day from a weekend at the beach. And after have an amazing weekend, I came home to a broken spring on My garage door. I was unable to open the door. I called Precision Door, thinking they would not be open on Labor Day to my surprise they said that they could have a technician come out immediately. I told him they didn’t have to do it today. They could do it the next day if they want it didn’t matter to me and the technician came out on Tuesday morning. Great prompt service! They were able to fix the problem. I would highly recommend this company. Chris was an army Vetran clean cut super nice. Didn’t try to up sale me on anything. Chris showed me the problems with my door and he fixed the problem. All is good.
