The service was outstanding. Andy the lead technician was great to work with. He did a thorough examination of the door and tested resting weight of the door which was high. He recommended replacement springs due to the age of the same. He had custom springs ordered and brought back for installation the same day. I wish I had this service experience with the other contractors that I have worked with in the past!

Precision service man arrived in the first 1/2 hour of the scheduled 4 hour window -- a real surprise & blessing. The service man, Andy Maynard, was friendly, professional, clearly knew his business, worked quickly, and was completed with the required work in 75 minutes. He replaced the 40 year old springs, cables and rollers -- ALL very satisfactory!! Great job Andy!! Thank You Precision!!

Had a mouse get into my garage during the recent ice storm due to an eight inch section of the bottom weather stripping shrinking. Called and spoke to Gwen at 6:00 p.m. who assured me that she would have a tech out to see me the following day and quoted me a very reasonable price. The next day the technician Andy called me to let me know that he could be at my house earlier than my appointment. Showed up ten minutes later and was extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Despite the bitter cold, he replaced my weather stripping and had my door fixed within a half hour - and at the quoted price with no attempt to upsell me on other services. Because of the fantastic customer service and tech quality, I will never use any other company for garage door repairs in the future.

Tech Andy showed up exactly when he said he would. He diagnosed the problem quickly and had solutions. The work was completed in less time than estimated and the results over expectations. Andy had great advice on future upgrades I may make. Great overall experience. I would highly recommend Precision and Andy.

Andy did a great job and came very quickly which I really appreciate. The reason I gave only 3 stars was that the price seemed very high for what was done. When I called, they told me it would be a $95 diagnostic fee and if they had to do work, that fee would go toward the cost of the work done. The diagnostic feel included an inspection of our doors. I was fine with that. Turns out they only apply the service fee if the cost of the work is $250 or more. So it was $95 for the call plus $150 which is the minimum for any work done. They may have said that and I just missed it but either way, that seemed very high. I would have expected the $95 plus the difference between the $150 and would have been pleased. As it was, I felt a little bit deceived and taken advantage of. I would use them again as they do provide good service but would be more selective in what I use them for.

We have used precision in the past and didn’t realize we were being overcharged by such a large amount. We requested service on 1016 to have two springs replaced on our garage door and the estimate was $1200 which is 3 1/2 to four times more than the second and third estimates that we got for the exact same work. Even though it cost us $95 to have your technician come out there we still saved money. That’s why we did not elect to use your company.

Easy to schedule the appointment online and with plenty of confirmations by email and SMS to confirm appointment and provide arrival ETA. Andy M., the technician, was courteous, professional and explained everything in terms that were easy to understand. He made short work of the repairs (new spring, cables and bearings) and routine maintenance of our other garage door.
