I first met Aaron Sweet who came out to provide the doors a tune-up. We quickly learned that the 25 year doors were close to the springs and wires breaking. What I appreciated about Aaron was the information (education) he provided about the doors. He never aplied any pressure and reviewed all the trouble areas with me. I did agree with his assessment and based on the provided education, I amde an informed decision that new doors and hardware were needed. There are many options which once again, Aaron was informative and allowed us to make our own decision, on style and construction grade. Page came on out did a site visit and inspected our very sketchy garage door on our shop... really solid guy. The Door needed to be ordered since the existing opening wasn't a "standard" opening. After about 5 weeks the custom door arrived and two very professional young men (Jonathan and Caleb) did the installation. Jonathan and I spoke about my requirements regarding routing of control wire, recycled materials, location of equipment, etc. They did a perfect job, I would recommend Precision Door to anyone looking that values; Customer Service, time, and performance. While I had done my research they weren't the lowest cost, but I don't just base my decision solely on cost... I'm glad that I chose Precision Door.

The 2 men that came to install the doors were beyond excellent! This was a difficult installation, and frankly I was expecting problems. It went smooth as silk. The 2 installers were kind, knowledgeable, and so easy to work with. The did the job to perfection, cleaning and organizing as they went. From my first meeting with Andy I knew I would get the help I needed. He was able to keep my door working till I could get the new one. It's rare that I enthusiastically wait for a request to leave a review, but I couldn't be happier with the sales, communication via email/text, installation, and products provided by Precision Garage Door Service of Raleigh (PGDSoR)! Over the past 21 years, I've had my old opener replaced twice and spring replaced three times, and the door never closed properly and was dangerously heavy to open and close by hand. The PGDSoR sales rep diagnosed the problems with the old door, and the quoted price for door and motor replacement was more than reasonable. The installers were professional, friendly, efficient, and quickly helped me connect the opener with the MyQ app on my phone. The new door looks better, opens and closes almost without sound, and because the proper spring was installed is easy to pull up and down by hand and is therefore safer. I recommend PDGoR without reservation! 10/10.

Our very heavy, wood covered, 40 year old garage door mechanism broke, trapping our cars on Saturday, 4th of July weekend! The definition of an emergency! We called the Precision number and immediately had an appointment for 6 pm on Saturday night! The technician, Richard McCann was right on time. Within a few minutes he diagnosed the issues, plus he did an excellent job of showing all of the parts which were worn or questionable so we could make an informed decision. We chose to have many of the parts replaced. Richard had everything he needed on the truck and by 9:00 pm, everything was better than new and the door has never been quieter. Overall, an excellent experience in every way. Five stars for Richard!

We called Precision Garage Door because our garage door came off the rails suddenly and we couldn't get it to close. Called their 24/7 line and Chris came the next morning and got it to close and then a couple of days later, Jonathan came out to replace the garage door. I liked that their response time and service were prompt, both men were courteous and professional, and they gave you a call 30 minutes to let you know they are on their way.
