We recently contacted Precision Garage Door Service for help with a garage door that wouldn't close. From first contact on the phone right through the problem being fixed, they were a pleasure to work with. The technician who did the repair, John Patton, arrived promptly on the same day, quickly diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed in no time at all. He was professional, courteous and provided us with multiple service options with estimates for each so we could decide which one fit our immediate needs as well as our budget. Our garage door opener was not working properly and we were able to schedule a next-day appointment (on the weekend) via the website, within a reasonably narrow time frame (2hrs). John Patton arrived promptly, provided excellent explanations of the work to be done, and was able to perform the work immediately with supplies from his truck. (We needed a new opener and new springs.) As he was performing the work, he was very knowledgeable to answer any questions I had, and he even set up the opener with our vehicles. I have no notes for John. I felt that the price was a bit high given the cost of the parts themselves, but the convenience and great service took most of the sting out of that.

John Patton was prompt and extremely capable. I had purchased a new car and had several people try to connect the car's home link to the garage. John was able to do that and then checked my door for cracks and showed me some routine maintenance I could do myself.

When my garage door wouldn't close all the way, and I tried but couldn't fix it, I googled garage repair in Raleigh and chose Precision from the website. Called and explained the problem, and was scheduled for a technician to come out later that day, which was a pleasant surprise. The technician, John Patton, called shortly after and was nearby some came over sooner than I could have hoped. He diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly - roller was coming off the tracks. Before leaving he provided an estimate to replace the garage door. The charge for repair was very fair. It was great meeting John, and I would recommend your company highly.

I was struggling with a phantom beep in my garage door opener for a month, been through a couple vendors without solution. Precision's technician John immediately diagnosed my known problem and even uncovered a couple of latent ones. They know their business.

Exceptional service provided by John Patton, but started with great phone conversation with Customer Service (Ms. Gracia?), followed with informative visit "heads up" message, listing the Technician's name and picture. Our door (installed by other Company, now out of business) was a notch up from the "bare" contractor grade, but the original hardware was cheap, worn out, and causing issues (likely contributing to the spring breakage; the reason we called). John politely and patiently presented us with three clever options, from bare fix (but with better grade components) to complete hardware swap and extensive tune up). We were happy with our selection, and John also left us with professional recommendations, which I will put to use immediately. I specifically requested a "door sticker" and a business card, but certainly will never forget whom to call, when professional-grade service or maintenance is needed. I contacted Precision to repair a broken belt drive. The reservation was easy to make on line. There was a 2 hour time window. John Patton called early in that window giving a time of arrival. He was courteous and knowledgeable. He gave me options to replace the belt and rail or the motor and spring as well. I opted for the straight repair. He carried out the repair efficiently and it works well. He also went a step beyond and lubricated all the hinges on our 2 other garage doors. I would definitely use Precision and John again.
