Was told on the phone that a Torsion spring repair would be between $150-$300 all in, but they couldn’t quote the exact price until tech shows up. Oh, and the tech costs $75 to show up, but we credit you if you use us. Classic sunk cost fallacy here. Tech shows up and says the part costs $330. Just wasted $75 for a visit.
We are sorry you felt you had a bad experience as we strive to provide 5 star level service to everyone. All calls that come in are recorded to help if there is a communication breakdown during the scheduling and quoting process. After listening to the call, the young lady quoted the service call of $75 that was waived with repair on multiple occasions as that was a specific question you had about the charge. You also asked about pricing which you were given a range which the technicians quote also matched. We are sorry you're unhappy, but the information you were given on what to expect when the technician came out to your home was correct. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Very pleased with our new garage door opener. Evan came out to troubleshoot a problem and started with a tune-up. He showed us a problem with our existing drive that led us to installing a new unit. He was able to get it installed in about an hour. It's been installed for a week and works perfectly. Pleased all around - they responded quickly to our initial request, Evan was clear about what he would do and what it would cost, and the work was done well.

I was very impressed with Scotty. One of the lift assist springs was broken, however he found an issue with the original installation from years ago which required replacing the drums. Long story short he made it right for us and the garage door works perfectly. Scotty was on time, and cleaned up when he was finished. His technical knowledge is outstanding, and he is a true asset to Precison Door.

Stellar team…. From Jason in the office who spent time with me reviewing my needs in order to determine which product would best be for me to Richard McCann who did the installs… I purchased 3 LiftMaster garage door openers one for my home, which had a single door and two for my sons home, which had two garage doors. Additionally my springs needed to be replaced, they broke on both sides and they replaced them also. Highly recommend this company!

Richard was professional, friendly and was patient with us explaining our current door and answering our questions. We needed a tune up and when he left our garage door was running smoothly and quieter. We are so impressed. He never tried to sell us on anything. He just stated the facts and let us make the decisions.

One of the springs on our garage door broke yesterday about 5:00 pm and PDS made an appointment for us the next day which was great bc both of our cars were in the garage and the door was inoperable. Our technician, Richard, did a great job replacing the springs in about 30 minutes! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely call PDS when we have a garage door issue in the future!
