The main spring on the garage door broke after about 14 years of operation. I went online at about 6am and scheduled an appointment, saying that I needed to get my car out of the garage that day. A very personable serviceman (Aaron) arrived on time and was very methodical and efficient. He replaced the broken spring and several other parts that were in a worn condition. Made sure that everything was well lubricated, adjusted and then cleaned up. Everything now works better than before, almost silently and very smoothly. Great job.

Garage door would sometimes not close all the way. Code lights on head unit indicated sensor problem but I could not see sensor alignment trouble and wondered if problem was in the wiring. Precision technician came and moved the light sensors up a few inches away from ground level dirt and closer to a more stable position near the track bracket. Door working fine months later. Charged me nothing because they had replaced the head unit the prior year. Thank you Precision.

Had a mouse get into my garage during the recent ice storm due to an eight inch section of the bottom weather stripping shrinking. Called and spoke to Gwen at 6:00 p.m. who assured me that she would have a tech out to see me the following day and quoted me a very reasonable price. The next day the technician Andy called me to let me know that he could be at my house earlier than my appointment. Showed up ten minutes later and was extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Despite the bitter cold, he replaced my weather stripping and had my door fixed within a half hour - and at the quoted price with no attempt to upsell me on other services. Because of the fantastic customer service and tech quality, I will never use any other company for garage door repairs in the future.

Called and scheduled same day service for a broken spring. Aaron Was dispatched and kept me informed as to his arrival. I called Precision door company normally they have been very helpful in helping me with my garage door if something does not work. I have always had a very good experience with Precision and I can even call back a few of the guys that have helped me in the past. Gary is always great to work with. However, this time I called because the garage door would not open all the way or close. The tech came out and it was the cable that had broke. I was not informed nor aware I could purchased just the cable and have it installed by a friend, or just have the cable replaced. The tech just said it needed a new cable and it comes with the rail, I asked the price, and was shocked, a tiny discount was offered, and the total cost was 441.00, that took less than 20 minutes. My issue is this - I called Gary and asked him about all of this and asked why wasn't I offered another solution to order the part which normally at any Home Depot, Lowes or on line the price is about 50.00. Which would have saved me almost 400.00. I am definitely not happy with the service or the tech that came out, he even tried to offer me a new motor for a total of over 800.00. It isn't even quiet. The tech just kept telling me my motor is old and I should get a new one. The tech also informed me when I purchased the garage doors and now they are more than double the price of what I paid. Not sure what all this had to do with getting a cable fixed on the garage door opener. Now, I just purchased another garage door opener - a Chamberlain MYQ with all the bells and whistles the whole unit, (with a motor 1/2 hp of course) for under 200.00, had it installed and it is much quieter than the one Precision put in. Having spend 441.00 of my money could have been avoided had the tech been a very honest and sincere person. I am 74 years old, senior, retired and party of one, felt like I was taken advantage of. Feel free to refund my full amount and take out the rail/cable that was not necessary and I'll get a whole new unit for half the price installed, and a more updated version. That's my problem solved. A very dissatisfied customer in Cary. BLT

I can't say enough good things about Precision Door. One of our springs had broken, and I called Precision Door just before 2pm. They were able to schedule me a same-day appointment from 4-8pm. Richard showed up by 4:30 and I had texts indicating he was on the way. The spring replacement was completed in under an hour and the garage door is now working great. Precision exceeded my expectations in having the broken spring on my garage door fully fixed within 3 hours of my first call. Thank you so much!

Technician, Ricky Sanchez, did a really good job. The existing unit was about 20 years old (install by you all) so without parts available the only choice was to replace the entire unit... such is life sometimes. Slight difference in the unit installed compared to the existing one yet nothing to be upset or concerned about.

John Patton was prompt and extremely capable. I had purchased a new car and had several people try to connect the car's home link to the garage. John was able to do that and then checked my door for cracks and showed me some routine maintenance I could do myself.

We have used precision in the past and didn’t realize we were being overcharged by such a large amount. We requested service on 1016 to have two springs replaced on our garage door and the estimate was $1200 which is 3 1/2 to four times more than the second and third estimates that we got for the exact same work. Even though it cost us $95 to have your technician come out there we still saved money. That’s why we did not elect to use your company.
