My first experience was about 3 yrs ago, when my garage door light suddenly stayed on, after several years of working great. Evan was booked for my first appointment. He was very thorough in checking out the cause and said it was a connection issue that was going bad as it was an older model. I didn't want to buy a new one at the time, so it was temporarily re-engaged to work. Then, yesterday, the light stayed on again. Evan had been so clear the first time in explaining the issue, so I requested him again and learned that the motor was winding down and needed to be replaced. He explained the reasons why in a language I understood. It was time! What I like about Precision Garage Door Serice is the expediency of the service, and, especially, that a text is sent with the service tech's picture and a brief bio of their experience and work ethics. As a senior, that prepared my appt with a good impression. Evan arrived on time and with the same gracious attitude and thoroughness in explaining so many details in operating my new remotes. I needed to take notes, to learn another new techy device, but, he was patient, and showed genuine willingness and respect when I asked him to re-explain a couple instructions. Evan Kopel to the rescue again! In less than 24 hours after our garage door and the supporting wall on the right side was hit by a vehicle - making the door inoperative - Evan arrived to get our garage door functioning again. This repair was somewhat tricky as the track had been damaged and the wall supporting it had been moved inward by about an inch. Evan was able to repair the track, properly realign it and make several needed adjustments to other components so once again our door is working perfectly. Call it a Hat Trick or a Trifecta but this is the third time over the past several years that Evan has flawlessly repaired a complex problem with our garage door. It is incredibly reassuring knowing that when any problem with our garage door occurs we can count on Evan to arrive promptly and professional perform whatever repair needed.

Our main spring broke on Sunday and our garage door was closed and unable to be opened. Through a referral, I was in contact with Precision and scheduled an appointment for 8am Monday morning. Aaron showed up right on schedule, as I was making room for him to replace the spring. We rescheduled for later in the day after I had cleared enough room, and again he showed up right on time at 4pm. He explained again what NEEDED to be done, and recommended options to prevent other problems with the old door. We decided to go with all his recommendations, which included a 5 year warranty on parts and labor. He was done in about an hour and the door is smoother and quieter with all the new parts than it was before. Aaron was pleasant, professional, and very knowledgeable about all he did, and explained everything and the reasoning behind his recommendations. I absolutely recommend Precision Garage (and Aaron) to everyone I know, whether it's an emergency repair or just a checkup and maintenance on their systems to prevent anything bad from happening.

My garage door wouldn't open or close this morning. After trying another service provider who said it would be several days before they could come out to take a look at it, I had an appointment for the same day with Precision. Plus 1 - Precision Chris arrived within 2 hours of the initial call for help. He identified the problem within 10 minutes: a faulty motion sensor at the base of the garage opening. He gave me a quote right then to have the sensors (there are two) replaced. We discussed other aspects of my garage door, one of which is the spring which is going on 10+ years, which Chris said is a little beyond the lifespan for this contractor/builder version. No pressure to replace it, but rather, just discussing the fact that it is at end-of-life. Plus 1 - Precision I decided to replace the spring. It is a bit pricey, but they included a discount and no-cost for the sensor(s) replacement. Plus 1 - Precision. Chris completed the work within a hour. Amazing! Plus 1 - Precision

A new garage door is a significant investment, but our service person did a great job of presenting options to us and finding something that looks right and fits into our budget. I selected Precision Garage Door because they have a local office and responded quickly to my call. I contacted them about a year ago to diagnose my two garage doors and perform some maintenance. Today I wanted to get a quote for replacing my two aging garage door lifter motors (probably original with the house). The friendly service technician, Ricky Sanchez, arrived and explained the various options including pricing. I chose one of the options and he said that he had the new components in his truck and could install everything immediately. I said “great” and he began working on it. In about two hours, he installed the new door lifters, sensors, etc. The new door openers are quieter than the old ones, have motion sensor LEDs to light up the garage, and each one has an internal battery backup that can open or close the doors in the event of a power failure. Ricky answered all my questions and explained how to get the app to control the door openers from my phone. I was originally expecting to have to schedule a separate time for the installation. I am very pleased with the new door openers and the fact that they were installed on the same day!
