I called Precision on Monday afternoon and they were here the following morning. Paul was excellent. He explained my options and had the job completed within a couple of hours. He showed me what the issue was once he had it apart, ensured the garage worked perfectly once everything was installed, assisted me installing the app on my phone and getting it set up for me and my daughter to use, and he synced all my vehicles to the garage. He was very thorough and provided excellent service. I highly recommend these guys if you need garage repairs.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We definitely never want anyone to feel they received 1 star service. We feel like we should take this opportunity to explain the events that took place at your service call. We did speak to the technician about the events of the service call. You scheduled the appointment because your cables snapped which resulted in your door not being operable. Our technician came out and advised you it was a racked door (inoperable door) and he would have to at least get it operable so he could continue the 25 point inspection to see what other issues the door had. Now, the mistake on our technician's part was he should have stopped and explained at that moment, doing these things would be a flat charge you would have had to pay no matter if you wanted more work or not done. Instead he started doing what he and you discussed. While he was doing that, you went and called the company that actually installed your door, and as it was less than a year old, you still had a warranty with that company. You advised our technician to go ahead and stop and you would have the other company repair the door under warranty. You said you would only pay the service fee for him to come out, even though he had partially corrected your door problem. Per our technician, you advised him to make the door inoperable again since you weren't paying anymore than the 75.00 service fee. He did as he was asked and understandably, he was frustrated for undoing the work he did. While we would have loved to work with you, had you called the company that put the door in and scheduled your warranty work with them, you would have saved yourself the time, and our time slot for another customer. We hope you were able to get everything taken care of, but if not, please don't hesitate to call us.

My experience with Precision was excellent. The tech - Paul - called ahead and showed up early (that’s rare for service calls - and very convenient in this case), and then diagnosed and repaired my tricky high-lift door setup. All of the work was done under warranty from Precision - who installed the door and opener originally - even though the franchise has changed ownership since the original install was done. Paul was super friendly, and obviously knowledgeable. He figured out the problem(s) quickly and I’m back up and running with much-improved performance.

Terrible. I would recommend setting expectations and keeping them. Service was scheduled from 2-4. Called at 4:30 told the guy is on his way. Called at 5:30 said he must be in traffic but definitely on the way. Called at 6:30 told he would call us right away but he must be around the corner. Sure enough got a call in just a couple of minutes from the tech. He just got the dispatch and he was 45 minutes away and wanted to make it in the morning. I declined will hire another company.

Our garage spring broke on Friday late afternoon with our car in the garage. I called Precision to explain the situation and they sent out a technician the next morning to fix it. Scotty J was extremely helpful explaining things as he showed me the problems. The house is 15 years old and the garage door need some repairs in addition to replacing the springs. Because all the use our garage door gets with 2 cars, it made sense to me to install better mechanical parts so it works better and longer! 2 hours later everything was fixed and working again — much quieter! I also had him replace the switch with a newer style because the original one was making a good connection anymore. I was vey happy with Scotty! He did amazing work in a short amount of time and was very professional and courteous. Thank you Scotty!!!
