During a recent ice storm, the garage door froze and the mechanism that attaches to the motor was ripped off the door. I called Precision Garage Door Service and Master Technician Scotty Johnson was at my house within an hour. After surveying the damage, he presented his service proposal including the cost. Upon approval, Scotty began the repair which was completed within an hour. His service also included a maintenance inspection and tune up. I was very pleased with the service provided by Scotty and will call Precision if any further service is needed. Great Company! Great technician! Great customer service!

Ricky gets 4 stars; Precion's costs, 3 stars. He did a good job of explaining our options for maintenance of our garage door. I'm REALLY getting tired though of being told that various systems and devices are "builder grade," & therefore need a much more expensive upgrade of parts OR the entire system. In the case of our garage door, Ricky pitched that we needed to replace springs & rollers in addition to lubing & tightening to get any lasting improvement in noise level & smoothness of operation. Otherwise, we'd be needing the lubing & tightening again in a short amount of time. Therefore, since we're seniors & don't want to do all this again before we move to assisted-type living in a few years, I bought the logic of getting a better fix now...once & for all...despite the cost being a budget-buster.

I had a spring break on a Sunday night after 7 p.m. and was able to chat with someone right away through the website. We would like to commend Tim McRae and the company he represents , Precision Garage Door Triangle, for the prompt, professional and honest service we received today. One of our garage doors failed to open even though the motor was running. When Tim arrived and inspected the equipment, he promptly noticed that the “emergency disconnect” attached to the opener trolley had been manually disengaged. Tim proceeded to reconnect it and tested the system which worked perfectly. He asked if we had other concerns which we did not and charged us only the service call. Needless to say, we were thankful that this was the only issue. His honesty and good humor made our day! When it is time for further service, we WILL contact Precision Garage Door-Raleigh again!
