I had a few estimates for new doors and motors. All were reasonably priced with professional experts, but Precision stood out. During the initial estimate, John was very helpful and incredibly responsive to follow-up questions. Waiting for the doors, I received regular updates. Scheduling the install ran smoothly, and the installation professionals did a great job and were very professional. Best of all, the doors work great and the price was amazing. Thank you!

I had a broken spring on my door opener. I contacted with them to fix this. From prior experiences I knew the cost to replace 2 springs should be between $400-500. The tech came in and immediately started examining the door. Then he spent the better part of 10 minutes playing with his iPad. Finally he came back with 3 choices; good, better, best. He started with best greater then $2100. Next was better around $1300 and finally good around $800. I told him I did not want to be upsold and when I could not get him to focus on the springs I asked him to leave. Later today another company came and replaced the springs for $500 If you enjoy being upsold this is the company you should use. I will never call them again

PGDS is well-organized and responsive. Their answering service picked up, and a technician arrived promptly on a Sunday afternoon. He was professional, polite, efficient, and informative. After one extension spring broke on our single-car Clopay door, they quoted about $1,400 to convert it to a torsion system, or over $2,000 for a new door. The door is about 30 years old, but in very good condition, so we wanted to keep it and replace the springs. We appreciated the prompt, professional service, but we wish they had offered a straightforward repair. We left with the impression that replacing the extension springs wasn’t possible because the parts were unavailable. Another company replaced both springs while keeping the existing system and door for about a thousand less.

Called for service for a broken "torsion" spring which rendered the door inoperable (the door weighs about 150 lb without the spring). "Precision" installed the door in 2015 and it has worked flawlessly until the spring broke. We've "Precision Garage Door Service of Raleigh" The office scheduled an appointment for repair the next day which Technician Tim Mcrae accomplished in about an hour. The technician performed an overall safety inspection on all the door components before letting us know the work was complete. The garage door is again quiet and smooth running! The technician, Tim, was experienced and very professional and we will continue to call on the services of Precision Garage Door Service of Raleigh when needed in the future. Thank you!

I first called Custom Door who originally installed our garage door and I was not pleased with the receptionist or the fact they could not come for 4 days to replace the rubber at the bottom of our door. I then called Precision and the receptionist Francesca was very helpful and they were able to come that day. Surprisingly the cost was about the same for each company. Precision's repairman Austin arrived and placed the new rubber on the door. Precision definitely won my confidence.
