We were well-pleased with our experience with Precision Garage Door Service. Greg Gray was our technician and he phoned and left a detailed message regarding his arrival time. He was prompt and thorough in his inspection process and gave a detailed analysis of our needed repairs. He analyzed the situation with our exterior pad not connecting to the remote after a new one was installed. It now works flawlessly. Brandon Mills did a wonderful job explaining what parts of my garage door were worn and needing to be replaced when I replaced the opener. I didn’t have a heads up on that from the sales team, so it was a bit of a surprise, but Brandon did such a good job explaining it all, that I was ok with the surprise large expense in addition to the opener to make sure I had a safe, well functioning system and to make sure the opener warranty would be valid. Brandon did a very good job installing the new opener and new spring, etc. He went through all the set up for the WiFi interface and made sure that, the car openers, and the remote opener were all working. He tested the safety sensors to make sure they were all working correctly. I love the new SO MUCH QUIETER opener and love that I can control it remotely and am happy that it has been updated so I don’t have to worry about it breaking down for many years to come. Many thanks to Brandon for exemplary service! Also, the scheduling person was very helpful as well. He called at the end of my service window and asked if they could reschedule for tomorrow but when he found out that I had made a special trip to the property to make sure I was there when they arrived today, he quickly said they would move some things around and would still come today. That is was much appreciated as well. I have used Precision before and have always had great experiences with installation and this was no exception.

On Thanksgiving Day, a torsion spring broke on our garage door, we contacted the company who installed the garage door 14 years ago; It took three weeks for them to come out to replace the torsion springs. They did not even, do a service check on any other component, although they did say, it was a 14 year old system, things are going to break. We knew the lift was near end of life and we needed a reliable company to come out to service our garage door and its components, and install a new lift. We did a google search and Precision came up as the number 1 garage door company in our area. From the time we made the call to schedule an appointment for service with Precision, we were impressed with their professionalism, politeness and knowledge, and willingness to accommodate our schedule. Enter Justin, he was as polite, knowledgeable, and professional as you could ever wish for. He took time to explain to both my husband and me the options available for replacing the lift and refurbishing the door components. He had all parts available on his truck as was able to complete the job within 3 hours. When he was finished with the installation, he assisted with setting up the MyQ app on my smartphone, along with syncing our vehicles to the new lift. Our experience was exceptional, will definitely refer Precision to anyone needing garage door repair.

The technician (Andy Maynard) was AMAZING. He went above and beyond working with me while I was at work to repair my door. He listen to everything I explained to make sure the repair was completed correctly and to save me money. At first he told me that both springs needed to be replaced $800 and then figured out that the cable/chain jumped the track and only needed adjusted. Thank goodness. Andy was an absolute pleasure to work with.
