Had a technician come to fix springs of garage door. He came on time and was nice. Our current garage door spring is torque master plus. He recommended replace springs with other type likely torsion system with a quote total $1200 after discount!!!! Googled the cost for conversion the system and it is around $400! There is no way we should pay $1200!!!
We are very sorry to see that you feel like you received 1 star service because of the pricing. We would love to answer any questions that you might have as to why the pricing is so different. Please make sure when you compare the prices of the springs, you are comparing identical springs from both companies. Of course if you order some online, you would have to pay for the parts, plus labor and shipping, so that would be added into your cost. Our service would also come with a warranty for both parts and labor. We wish we could have worked with you, but we completely understand the hesitation because of the price. Please don't hesitate to call if we can assist you in the future.

I called Precision because they installed my garage door. I called at 11:15 and Paul came and replaced springs and my door was working by 1:00 pm. So impressed with Precision and Paul in particular. When I called, the receptionist was very exceptional also. Great job!!! I’ll definitely recommend you guys!!

Great explanation of what went wrong with the door, and what was necessary for it to work again. Repair was completed within an hour and a half, and now the mechanism is much smoother and quieter. If the door needs to be opened when the power is out, i can lift it with my fingertips -- Couldn't do that with the builder installed mechanism.

Paul arrived on time for a weekend call, quickly diagnosed our problem, and explained our options clearly. We ended up in a situation where we needed to replace rather than repair our unit's motor, so it was nice to get a review of the different features available on new units without any sense of pressure or upselling. Paul also took time to show me the features of the new unit once it was installed and stayed to make sure we were comfortable with its operation. This is our third experience with Precision Garage Door and we have been satisfied each time.

A surprisingly easy service call from start to finish! My garage door spring and cables had broken and I could not open the door. The tech came in, adjusted a few things, and the door opened again. He expertly removed the old spring and cable wheels and installed the new ones without a problem. It was obvious that he was well trained. The tech also installed the outside pin code opener that I had also requested. After the uncomfortable experience I had had with another company, it was refreshing to have someone who knew what to do and how to do it. You cannot go wrong with Precision Door Service.
