After calling the install vendor and another company that was also listed on the garage door I was unable to get a service person until Monday or Tuesday. I finally called a friend about 3:50 and they recommended Precision and their service is spectacular! I went to the website and actually used the “chat” feature and understandably the first available appointment was not until Monday morning. I explained the situation of how my husband was headed out for an appointment, pushed the garage door button and the spring broke and the garage door is so heavy we couldn’t get the cars out and our garage door is one of those doors that weighs so much you really can’t use a release button and just push it up. The “chat” then told me about the emergency option and fee and how they could have someone out between 6-10 pm. Evan from Prevision called me about 5:15 said he would be at the house in 25 minutes and he arrived before 6! He was compassionate, asked questions, and was so good at informing me of my options in getting the door repaired. Evan said the repair time would be about an hour. Evan finished within the hour, explained my warranty, shared my statement, I paid and he shared his business card, a sticker for Prevision (of course we put it on the garage door and removed the other stickers)and headed out! Thank you Evan! You made a not so happy experience much easier to handle with your excellent service skills. ~Jackie

Sunday afternoon one of our garage door springs broke, making this rather heavy door inoperable. Called Precision around 5pm (on a Sunday) had a technician on site in a little over an hour. Richard McCann handled our problem quickly. His vast knowledge and eye for detail is a great asset to Precision. Just had my garage Door repaired by Richard and Scotty of Precision Door Service. I am amazed at the professionalism and quality of service. I thought I needed a new garage opener. Long story short, Richard and Scotty found out the issue was the spring assembly. They fixed my door in no time. I definitely recommend Precision Door Service. Very trustworthy team. On Thanksgiving Day, a torsion spring broke on our garage door, we contacted the company who installed the garage door 14 years ago; It took three weeks for them to come out to replace the torsion springs. They did not even, do a service check on any other component, although they did say, it was a 14 year old system, things are going to break. We knew the lift was near end of life and we needed a reliable company to come out to service our garage door and its components, and install a new lift. We did a google search and Precision came up as the number 1 garage door company in our area. From the time we made the call to schedule an appointment for service with Precision, we were impressed with their professionalism, politeness and knowledge, and willingness to accommodate our schedule. Enter Justin, he was as polite, knowledgeable, and professional as you could ever wish for. He took time to explain to both my husband and me the options available for replacing the lift and refurbishing the door components. He had all parts available on his truck as was able to complete the job within 3 hours. When he was finished with the installation, he assisted with setting up the MyQ app on my smartphone, along with syncing our vehicles to the new lift. Our experience was exceptional, will definitely refer Precision to anyone needing garage door repair.

The technician (Andy Maynard) was AMAZING. He went above and beyond working with me while I was at work to repair my door. He listen to everything I explained to make sure the repair was completed correctly and to save me money. At first he told me that both springs needed to be replaced $800 and then figured out that the cable/chain jumped the track and only needed adjusted. Thank goodness. Andy was an absolute pleasure to work with.
