My research included a Better Business Bureau search of this company where they have an impressive A+ rating. My expectations were exceeded from the start of my online chat about scheduling an appointment for garage door maintenance. I received an immediate response confirming they could assist with my maintenance request and was offered availability within two days. On the day of appointment the technician, Aaron Sweet, called to advise of his anticipated 45 minute arrival. I also received an email with Aaron's photo advising that he was on his way. I really appreciated that personal safety feature. Aaron was friendly and professional.He explained what the service appointment would entail. He said the garage door, springs and opener were in good condition and recommended two year inspections. He showed me that the rollers were worn. I asked for, and he gave me the replacement cost. He went a step further and also provided a total cost invoice prior to starting the work so that I would be completely informed. The inspection and work took less than 30 minutes. I confidently and highly recommend Precision Garage Door.

I was optimistic that calling this company would save me some time and I would pay a fair price for repairs to my overhead door. Joke is on me. I had to pay $100 (trip charge) just to get a quote for $1500 to replace torsion springs and rollers. “Labor is only $150 though.” SMH. I’ll do it myself this weekend. Disappointed because I know how much the materials actually cost. Smoke and mirrors sales game.

I had broken springs repaired11/10/24. Called Precision and was promptly scheduled for repair. Paid $1,300 for the repair. More expensive than I remembered for previous repairs over the years, but I chose not to get additional quotes for repair. Evening of 12/10/24, I came home and closed the garage door. As the door closed, the door came of the tracks and failed to close properly. Upon closer inspection, the door had also pulled at the bracing between the top of the door and the connection to the garage door opener chain. Obviously, I called Precision to get it checked out again. I had also recalled the tech saying he had adjusted the tracks during the initial repair. I assumed as a courtesy. When I chatted online and called directly, I explained prior service and the current issue. I would have expected, given such a recent service and at such expense, I would have been told we will get someone out asap to take a look. Dissapointed that I was obviously chatting with and speaking to a scheduler who was just giving me the next available time. The soonest that would work was days later. Contacted another Company and they came out with hours and got the door functioning again. Icing on the cake was the tech saying I had paid twice what they would have charged to replace the spings. Just left an overall bad feeling

We called Precision Garage Door because our garage door came off the rails suddenly and we couldn't get it to close. Called their 24/7 line and Chris came the next morning and got it to close and then a couple of days later, Jonathan came out to replace the garage door. I liked that their response time and service were prompt, both men were courteous and professional, and they gave you a call 30 minutes to let you know they are on their way.

Yesterday Andy Maynard and his assistant arrived to address a problem with my garage door operation. I briefed them on the current problem and the past history of door services. With that information Andy inspected the door system and provided me with several proposals to resolve the issue. I questioned him on each proposal and choose the one that best suited me. My wall pad went out. I had an afternoon appt. Andy had an early opening so he called me. I was at work 20 minutes away, I said I would meet him there. By the time I got there he had already changed the wall pad out we just needed to set my code. Two minutes and I was on my way back to work . Excellent job Andy. I got my invoice and it had charges for two spring coatings, and a new chain. It was not relayed to me why I needed two coats and the technician said the garage will be loud because he had to bend a link in the chain. I don't understand why if I got a new sprocket system, chain, and coating for all of those things why it would still be loud. Why if it is a new chain did any of the links have to be bent? I could've bought a new system for less money then the repair

My garage door was heavy and jammed shut when the tensioner spring failed, causing my vehicle to be trapped. This created a big inconvenience, if not a bit of an emergency, for me. Precision Garage Door Service was chosen after contacting the original company that installed my garage door system. Original installer only had a voicemail for response. Since they had a large service coverage over the Triangle area, I then called Precision, who answered with a live person and set up a repair visit for the following day. The responding technician, Garrett Yeager, promptly came out during the assigned time slot and had my system repaired and upgraded in a very short time.
