We replaced our existing garage door about 2 years ago, using Precision. We were very satisfied with the results then and have not add any trouble until just a few days ago. Precision made an appointment for early the very next day, Andy, the technician arrived prompted at the scheduled time, listened to my explanation of the problem, and quickly made some minor adjustments that fixed the problem. He patiently explained what he did and why it should fix the problem. He waited while I walked through several tests to confirm things were now working properly. I am a very satisfied and happy customer.

I had a garage door emergency on a Saturday. I called Precision Garage Door Service around noon, and they had someone out at 2pm. Richard fixed my issue, and while he was there he helped me review other items that needed attention, without any up-sale pressure. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and took great care of my garage door. I have since had them come back out and upgrade some springs and 2 rusty cables that would have snapped soon if Richard had not identified those issues for me. I will be using Precision Garage Door Service going forward. And no, I was not paid or asked to do this review. I am in Wake Forest NC.

I am very pleased with the telephone conversation I had with Milton, before determining that a service visit was needed. Greg Gray identified the problem with my door sensors that had given an error code indicating sensor obstruction. That was due to a sensor misalignment issue, which was corrected and sensors secured. In his 25 point inspection, Greg found that the spring needed tightening and the moving elements needed lubrication. The job was quickly performed & completed. I'm very pleased with the Precision Door Service

John came out the very next day after I called. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He replaced both keypads on our two garage doors. They were 20 years old and working great. I also had some other questions that he was able to answer. Very nice person. John made sure the garage doors were working and we tested them multiple times before he left. He explained the work that he was doing and the price was very much in line with what was quoted in the estimate when I called to schedule the appointment.

Our home was built in 1994. It had a Genie chain drive garage door opener. After 29 years of noisy but dependable service, we selected Precision to upgrade the system with a Lift Master top of the line belt drive unit. For a premium price, it provided very quiet service and came with a warranty. One year later, it quit working. The service technician quickly identified the problem as a broken or defective wire. No problem, all the wiring was replaced within 30 minutes and I was given a bill for $203. It turns out the installer used the previous 29 year old wiring when upgrading to the new system. Apparently, this a common problem when replacing garage door openers. No warranty credit. Suggestion: When replacing units, replace the wiring and warranty the work. It is a minimal cost item and only takes a few minutes to accomplish. It will also improve customer relations. Both of the service techs were courteous, qualified and efficient.

Where do I begin…PGDS of Raleigh and the service technician John simply put is/was outstanding, professional, honest and efficient in resolving my broken garage door and giving me a better understanding on the health of my garage door. Was truly impressed with the service I received from Precision Garage door Service. Called in the afternoon and had an appointment scheduled for the same afternoon. Technician actually arrived well ahead of schedule. Diagnosed the problem and presented the options to me. Service was exceptional & price I thought was reasonable. Technician setup the system and thoroughly explained everything. What was even more impressive is that the system displayed an error code - did not affect the operation. Instead of just saying don't worry about it and disappearing, when the technician worked with the manufacturer on the problem, following up with me daily on what was going on. Never felt out of the loop or abandoned. Problem is now solved.
