John came out the very next day after I called. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He replaced both keypads on our two garage doors. They were 20 years old and working great. I also had some other questions that he was able to answer. Very nice person. John made sure the garage doors were working and we tested them multiple times before he left. He explained the work that he was doing and the price was very much in line with what was quoted in the estimate when I called to schedule the appointment.

Our home was built in 1994. It had a Genie chain drive garage door opener. After 29 years of noisy but dependable service, we selected Precision to upgrade the system with a Lift Master top of the line belt drive unit. For a premium price, it provided very quiet service and came with a warranty. One year later, it quit working. The service technician quickly identified the problem as a broken or defective wire. No problem, all the wiring was replaced within 30 minutes and I was given a bill for $203. It turns out the installer used the previous 29 year old wiring when upgrading to the new system. Apparently, this a common problem when replacing garage door openers. No warranty credit. Suggestion: When replacing units, replace the wiring and warranty the work. It is a minimal cost item and only takes a few minutes to accomplish. It will also improve customer relations. Both of the service techs were courteous, qualified and efficient.

Our technician was Evan. He went right to work and found the problem. He was very polite and professional and installed a new opener and replaced several parts. He programmed our remotes and downloaded the app to our phone. He made sure we were satisfied and our questions were answered. Technician actually arrived well ahead of schedule. Diagnosed the problem and presented the options to me. Service was exceptional & price I thought was reasonable. Technician setup the system and thoroughly explained everything. What was even more impressive is that the system displayed an error code - did not affect the operation. Instead of just saying don't worry about it and disappearing, when the technician worked with the manufacturer on the problem, following up with me daily on what was going on. I first compared prices from Precision Garage door with that of another. Their price was cheaper and so I selected them for no other reason. Now, having hired them and door installed I am so happy! With the initial consultation, I was really pleased with the professionalism. Also, upon seeing my makeshift "headprotection" set on the garage overrail, it was asked if I wanted the rails raised. Something I didn't know was possible to do and very happy it was suggested! The team that came to insult the door, was also very courteous, efficient and professional. It all works and looks great. I just love my new door.

I recently purchased a home, and realized the garage door was not opening. I reached out to Precision Door, and was offered a same day appt, (which I was not able to take), they were able schedule me out a few days which fit my schedule, and the tech Andy was phenomenal.
