Called Precision at 7:00pm for a broken spring on our double garage. They had someone at my house before 8:00pm. Andy Maynard was the Technician that came and he was unbelievably quick, and so efficient! After realizing how old my current door opener was, I decided on a new one and Andy had it installed in no time. He explained everything and answered all of our questions. So glad I called Precision!

When I first called, I was assisted by a very courteous person who surprisingly stated she could have a service person at my home within just a few hours. From the call I received until leaving after completing the service, Mike Grove was professional and efficient. He immediately diagnosed the problem and clearly explained my options. After I selected my repair approach, Mike went to work and completed the service in less time than initially estimated without any attempt to upsell me. Throughout he was extremely polite and concluded by thoroughly cleaning up any trash. Finally, he assisted with all the technical set up assuring all was working before leaving. I will certainly go back to Precision if I need garage door service in the future and recommend them to others.

We found Precision Garage Door through Home Advisor and we were able to get an appointment the next day. Greg was outstanding with the work he did at our home! Greg installed new controllers, refreshed the tracks and installed new sensors. Greg was so very polite and detail-oriented. He made sure we knew how everything worked, such as the codes. The technician was professional, courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable. My only issue was that he did not arrive wearing a mask, which I assume is company policy. If there had been more concern for the safety of the customer, this would have been a five-star review.

Our technicians know that they must wear their mask when they exit their truck to greet a customer but they do not have to drive around in their truck with their mask on, if they are riding alone. We are so excited about our new LiftMaster openers! We had a power surge that wiped out 2 of our 3 ancient openers and I have to say, of all the items we had to replace, these were the most painless. We went from creaky, clunkers (you didn’t have to announce your arrival at home when these things activated) to barely audible, smooth openers. Jay was very thorough and explained everything throughout the process. My husband even commented, “He seems to genuinely enjoy his job.” A blessing these days! My MIL used Precision last month for a big repair and I’m so glad we decided to go with her referral. A+++

I’m very disappointed that you would not fix only the broken spring on our garage door. The other was replaced last year. When I called I was told $188 or around there knowing only one was broken. Would not repair unless both springs are replaced. $617 SCAM

After speaking with the technician about your job, he stated he spoke with your husband in great detail about the reason both springs needed to be replaced and that the spring you are referring to, was the wrong size for the door. It is our company policy that all springs on the door get replaced after one breaks. The reason for this is because of safety concerns for the technician and the longevity of the door. We are sorry you feel that you were scammed but this was not the case. We have a standard to uphold and make sure your door is safe and works as it should. Having the wrong spring on your door is a safety concern and we are glad that the technician was able to discuss this with your husband and make it right. My mother referred me to precision door after being very pleased having her garage door and motor replaced.
