Our garage spring broke on Friday late afternoon with our car in the garage. I called Precision to explain the situation and they sent out a technician the next morning to fix it. Scotty J was extremely helpful explaining things as he showed me the problems. The house is 15 years old and the garage door need some repairs in addition to replacing the springs. Because all the use our garage door gets with 2 cars, it made sense to me to install better mechanical parts so it works better and longer! 2 hours later everything was fixed and working again — much quieter! I also had him replace the switch with a newer style because the original one was making a good connection anymore. I was vey happy with Scotty! He did amazing work in a short amount of time and was very professional and courteous. Thank you Scotty!!!

The service response was great. Less than 12 hours. The service tech was well versed in analyzing the problem and fixing the issue (new opener purchased) He also checked the garage door, straightened the door and lubed all the rollers and joints.

I got four estimates done while planning this project. Not only was Precision the lowest, but it also seemed like it should have been the most expensive, given the level of organization, professionalism, the "showroom on the truck," etc. Our installer Shane rocked it. He did the install quickly, communicated well, and delivered everything that was promised.

I was referred to Precision by a neighbor. The service was fantastic. The technician, Paul, showed up ~1h after my first call! Paul was very professional and courteous. He clearly explained the cause of our problems. He replaced two springs, installed two motors, and even corrected errors that previous installers had committed. Paul also called on additional help from another technician, Mike, and they both completed the job within 2h. After installation, Paul was also very patient in going through the set up of the remotes, keypad, and the Liftmaster app. Very impressive and cannot recommend highly enough!

First what I liked: Tim the installer was great. Their office staff was also helpful too being able to quickly schedule an appointment for next day which is also appreciated. The company knows what it’s doing, and has the necessary gear on the truck to fix the problem. Not a situation where they have to come back. They arrived at 8 and left at 10:30 with the problem solved. What I didn’t like: the value proposition was a little rough. I get that having an office staff, truck, materials on hand etc all costs money and at the end you will pay for that as a consumer, but paying so much for some metal and a couple of hours of labor doesn’t feel great. My suspicion is that if you were willing as a consumer to deal with the hassle of shopping around and maybe waiting an extra day or two for repair that some money could be saved.

I scheduled technician for my garage door opener motor setting. Since I played with it earlier because door keep on opening itself and sometime just not get full close.He came and look at my garage door and told me to change its spring. Although spring was not broken or it might need some basic service. He told me to change spring that will cost $1300. I asked him first please look for motor setting since spring was not broken. But he refused to touch the motor. He played smart for half an hour. He told me, he will do it for me for $1000. I said still it is too much. I have to pay him $75 for nothing. Next day I called other garage door company. Other company told me spring is ok. If I still need to change it. He gonna charge $550 for the same spring that precision door technician was offering with out taking any money for estimate. I am very disappointed with the precision company, looks like scammer. WITH this review I ask you guys to return my $75. I will never recommend this company. Thanks

I want to thank you for sending such a capable and knowledgeable technician, Richard McCann. He was prompt, skillful and offered a solution to the very shoddy work and materials provided by Pulte Homes showed us this issues and clearly explained the solution while offering us options based on cost. The rollers were slacked and ground down due to the door being improperly balanced, the springs were undersized and overwound, and the wheels were too small and made of cheap plastic (they wouldn't stay in the track). We now have a re-worked system that should last for years. We will certainly recommend Precision to our neighbors who undoubtedly will be experiencing similar issues as they had the same shoddy builder. Thank you, Richard and Precision.
