Asked during appointment scheduling if this was a locally owned family business, which the operator confirmed. While it may have been a family business at one point in time, this is now an entity owned by Neighborly. My concerns with hiring a franchised business under a large conglomerate and the associated higher costs to pay for their overhead and large margins were immediately realized when I paid 600 for new rollers and minor adjustment to the pulley/chain. Will be sure to do more research in the future to ensure I support a true, locally owned small business.

We are very supportive of the community in an array of various ways including supporting the area locally with hiring locally trained and locally living employees. Your concerns about costs are understandable however, we did provide you with several options and you selected the option that fit you and yours best. We investigated into your visit further and the notes of what we did and that included, "Door and opener from 2005, rollers are seized and door is running rough, springs are old and worn will likely break soon. All moving parts are worn. Opener from 2005, due to door being imbalanced and rollers seized, the opener is getting excessive close force, and the belt is jumping on the gear causing the limits to be wrong. Opener needs adjusted and rollers/springs replaced. Opener is old but functional for now, will likely need replaced soon. During the repair, gear on the opener is very loose, opener will need replaced very soon." as our skilled and honest team conveyed to you on site. We are here for your feedback and concerns. Spring broke on a Saturday with no way to get vehicles out of the garage. Called Precision after calling my normal garage door company (which was closed). I was given an appointment with a 11 to 3 window. Precision stayed in touch and John Patton was dispatched to our home. He arrived on time and was a joy to work with. He upgraded the springs, put in new cables and new spring anchor plate and tuned up the mechanics. John was professional and answered all my questions.

I called expecting to schedule an appointment sometime in the next week and was pleasantly surprised when they offered me a technician within the next hour! We had Ricky Sanchez out to take a look at our 24 year old garage door opener. He arrived on time and was friendly and professional. He quickly was able to determine that our current opener was at the end of its life. He gave me a thorough set of options that covered everything that would be needed to replace my opener including the costs and differences in each level. We proceeded with what was considered the best option, which included a full replacement of our garage door opener and included a lifetime warranty on the opener itself along with a 5 year warranty on all electrical and a one year warranty on all gears. It also came with a keypad that was mounted outside the garage door and could be used to open the door with a code. Ricky was able to completely replace my 24 year old garage door opener in two hours. The finished product is simply perfect. I never knew my garage door could open so quietly and smoothly. The work was done promptly, professionally, and he cleaned up everything when he was finished. He spent a fair amount of time showing us the new features of our spectacular new system and answered any questions we had. The entire experience was pleasant and painless, which I found very refreshing. I highly recommend Ricky Sanchez and Precision Garage Door Service to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and professional experience.
