One of the most stressful situations is to have an upcoming important appointment that you can't put off, but realize that you have no way to get there. My wife and I were in exactly this situation this past Sunday night. You see, our garage door spring broke, making it impossible to open—trapping our car in the process...and putting our important Monday appointment in jeopardy. Enter Precision Garage Door Service. Looking at their website, I saw that I could schedule a service call online: a quick and easy process. They had an open slot with an arrival time between 8:00 and 10:00 am Monday, which I took, even though the timing for our important appointment was going to be tight. My wife, a bit less trusting in technology than I am, saw on Precision's website that their phones are answered by live operators 24/7, so she called to confirm the our scheduled service call was truly scheduled. The very nice person she spoke with verified that we were all set and, when my wife mentioned our Monday important appointment, said she would make a note of that in their system. And so, crossing our fingers that we would be able to get our car out of the garage in time tomorrow, we headed off to bed. The next morning, just minutes after 8:00 am, we saw a Precision truck pull into our driveway. Out popped Aaron Bean, who introduced himself, shook our hands, and said he understood that we had to make it to an important appointment, so he'd get right to work. In short order, he verified that our broken spring was indeed the culprit, assured us that he'd be able to free our trapped car with time to spare, and then proceeded to do exactly that. He also checked all aspects of the door's operation and made suggestions about what could be done to ensure that the door wouldn't be failing us again anytime soon. In the end, he had our garage door opening and closing more smoothly than it had ever done almost 13 years ago when our house was built. As Aaron drove off, and we got ready to head off to our appointment, we were so relieved that, of life's many uncertainties, our garage door isn't one of them. Our garage door spring broke last evening. It trapped our car inside as we could not open/lift the door. Also I had a doctor appt I needed to get to this afternoon. The company listed on the door not only had no means to schedule an appt online, but also only had voicemail. Precision has online scheduling, and we were able to immediately schedule an appt for the NEXT MORNING between 8-10 a.m., let them know we were trapped, AND we were also able to talk to a REAL person to confirm everything, THAT SAME NIGHT. At 8:20 the next morning Aaron Bean showed up, pleasant, efficient, and REALLY knew his stuff. He assessed everything, gave us three options for the problem and within an hour and a half, did all the work. We chose the option to replace all the hardware and upgrade to better parts. He was FANTASTIC in explaining everything he used, everything he did, and how we could do things going forward. If there were a 10 star rating for Aaron and Precision, I would give it. Period. Can't say enough good things.
