I recently purchased a home, and realized the garage door was not opening. I reached out to Precision Door, and was offered a same day appt, (which I was not able to take), they were able schedule me out a few days which fit my schedule, and the tech Andy was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, immediately knew why the issue was, had the parts readily available on his truck for repair, and was able to explain everything to me, so that I understood what needed to happen and why it should not remain in that condition.

Our garage door motor burned up yesterday. I called Precision and they sent Andy Maynard this morning. He presented us with 3 options and we chose the middle option. Andy didn’t try to upsell us and he did a phenomenal job installing the new motor and gave us a great tutorial. I would highly recommend Andy and Precision Garage Door. They were very fast, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

My garage door spring broke and a bracket failed, and I could not even lift my door manually. Called Precision Door in Wake Forest and asked them to send someone who could at least get it opened so I could get cars out. They gave me a time window, and the technician made it at the earliest time. He got the door opened, then gave me three options (and prices) for the minimal, better, and best fixes. No pressure to pick any particular one. Answered all my questions in plain language. Did the work on the spot and charged me exactly what he said it would take (i.e., no sudden add-ons). He was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable, and he cleaned everything up and hauled away all the old components, packaging, etc. Paid him by credit card on the spot. Was not cheap (I opted for the most expensive option because it included the longest warranty), but I would call them again if I needed that kind of service. The electric motor is nearly 20 years old but still works; if and when I need a new one, I will call these people.

I read most of your reviews! There were so many great comments! Richard, my technician explain the cheapest way I could correct my problem, for a short period of time. He then explained what I could do for a long term solution and the cost of each! He used a coupon and gave me a discount, senior citizen. The work was completed in about one hour to my satisfaction! He was very professional and a pleasure to deal with!

Michael Ottosen was early for the appointment which is fantastic! He then explained the issue which was much worse than we imagined but he did so in a manner that allowed us to understand the issue and then purchase a new door. Michael did a great job of working with the group of people involved as it was a Realtor (me), the seller, the sellers Realtor and buyer. We came to resolution and will have a new door for the owner within the same week as we found the problem. Great job on all fronts! Will refer and hire again! Mark
