We have used precision in the past for our other home’s garage door and had excellent service. When we bought a new house with two really old, worn out garage doors, they were our first call. I am glad to see that their service has remained top notch! Michael Ottosen came out on a Sunday (not expected, but very appreciated due to my very busy work schedule) and explained that because our doors were very old, bent, and worn, it would be pointless to put money into them and recommended replacement instead. The estimate he provided was extremely fair and he did not try to sell me openers or a more expensive type of door. Lucas and the installation team were prompt and did an excellent job installing our new doors. We did decide during the installation to install openers, and they installed them the same day. Our new doors look great and operate extremely quiet and smooth. Couldn’t be happier with the results and I won’t hesitate to call Precision again for future garage door needs!!

We had a torsion spring break on our double garage door while it was in the process of opening which also damaged the garage door opener. We called Precision and had a technician arrive within a few hours. Our Technician was Michael Ottosen, right from the start he was very pleasant and very professional. Michael explained all the options available with no pressure and knew his products inside and out. We ended up replacing the torsion springs and openers on both our doors. Michael spent the next several hours replacing everything. When he finished he cleaned up the site and took the time to explain every feature of the new openers. He was a pleasure to work with and we would highly recommend him and Precision.

Be careful, the price that you hear from them is about 50% lower than actual price will be. And once they come they are asking 75$ for visit. Once you realize that it's overpriced you will pay 75$ if you decide to go with other company. In my case I was told that repair is going to cost me up to 389, and I agreed. When technician came he said this price only for one spring (when you do your business and giving the quote to customer, you should give the total cost of repair. Especially if you are saying that you are the best in the area. Also you always suggest to fix 2 springs even if only one has broken, so please just let customer know about it) But NO, you are scheduling an appointment and when technician comes he is saying, no that price was only for one spring and now your total is going to be 620. I called another company explained everything and they gave me a quote for TOTAL repair just 400$. So I had to pay technician 75 $ just for an information, that I need to fix my torsion spring. Really??? I already knew that. Please just tell to the customer truth and don't say any numbers if you aren't sure.
Thank you for your feedback and speaking with our service manager. To add on to what he advised you during your call, the service fee was quoted to you during your call/chat. All of our calls and chats are recorded so we can review them for any issues or errors on our part. It is quoted to everyone as most major service companies have a service fee just to come out, and some don't even waive it. The notes reflect that you were advised the price was per spring. The scheduling department only schedules the appointments. They are not trained technicians and can't tell you if there is anything else going on or see your garage. Our technicians will always do a 25 point inspection and advise you of any current issues and future issues, which is why we provide a good, better, best quote. We let the customer decide what they want to fix based on the recommendation. As for replacing both springs instead of just one, its our company policy to do it that way for safety concerns and its just the correct thing to do for our customers. The reason we do that is because to put a new spring on, you must unwind the old spring and you run the risk of that old spring breaking in the technicians face, or because you are unwinding it and then putting it back, you are causing it to be primed to break sooner and would need someone to come right back out to replace that one too. So because of that, we always recommend replacing both springs at the same time. We are sorry you weren't happy with all of the information provided to you over the phone that was true, but we hope this information and the information from the service manager helped answer any questions or concerns.
