Greg from Precision Garage Door provided superb service. Arrived on time, and called to let me know when. Diagnosed the problem in minutes, and had just the right — and scarce — part to fix the stripped gear. Pointed out that the gear stripping was due to very slow travel on track, that strained the motor. Replaced wheels with stronger wheels with better bearings. Problem solved! Then he took the time to provide advice on maintenance and operation of the door and opener to prevent future problems. I will use Precision in the future, and ask for Greg!

Travis was up front and honest about the problems that actually were much bigger than originally thought. He fully repaired ALL the underlying issues that caused the original problem. The door actually operates better than when the house was built in 2015.

I was making coffee as my wife was leaving to work and as her garage door was closing I heard a loud pop! Sure enough spring broke. Called Precision that morning and they had Trevor out to our house in 2 hours! Trevor assessed the situation and gave me a clear explanation on the end bearings, right sizing springs, and also the fate of our Genie POC that came with the house. In the end, after unpressured discussion I decided to address both garage doors springs and end bearings along with replacing the Genie with a LiftMaster. Trevor did an outstanding installation job and even programmed my trucks homelink buttons for the garage door openers. He was done in 2 hours and left no trace he was ever here. Couldn't be happier with the great customer service delivered by Precision. It is a rarity these days.
