Fabulous service! Friendly, knowledgeable inspection of our old (broken) door - clear alternatives laid out. Hugely helpful installation service that went that extra bit above and beyond that will make me want to call them back next time. (And FAST!!!!! Our new garage door was up and running about 24 hours from the time we first called! OK, OK, I know everybody is not lucky enough to have a last-minute cancellation fall into their laps like that, but...)

Our overhead garage door had started making some strange noises and on investigation found one of the springs was broken. I called precision, garage doors, and Michael Ottosen answered the call. He was at my house 20 minutes after I called and is extremely knowledgeable about the doors, analyzing which springs were needed, and also several little tips he’s learned over the years of repairing doors. We were very pleased with his work, and will ask for Michael if needed any time in the future.

The repairs I had done were probably a little more expensive than what it would have taken to get things back in operation but I believe much higher quality parts were used and the job done was top notch. My garage door Lift Master system was installed by some fly by night installer. It never worked correctly and he never called me back. After 2 years of garage door not closing all the way or slamming the concrete, or not closing on bright sunny days (interfering with “seeing sensor”) I said “ Enough is enough”. I called Precision door in Cary, NC. Evan Kopel arrived the same afternoon!!!!! He was definitely a very skilled Tech with Lift Master and garage doors. He fixed everything from reprogramming the door opener, adjusting the spring tension correctly, changed the wheels on the track, adjusted the width of the tracks and most importantly, set the “seeing sensors” back about 6” on both sides! This eliminated the sunshine issue!! Evan Kopel is the best Tech I’ve met. He explained what was wrong and provided ideas on how to fix the issues! Thank you for sending Evan out to remedy my garage door issues!

My garage door is 17 yo and has never been maintained, this is the condition in which I purchased it, door would open 8" and stop. Chris C arrived earlier than estimated, identified the issue with my door, went over all my options, he reviewed what could be done now and what will probably be needed in the next few years. I opted for to have all moving parts replaced including the motor. Chris had all parts needed and was able to complete the job in a few hours. Nice doing business with someone who knows what they are doing.

Our old garage door opener finally stopped working so I called Precision. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to send somebody out the next day. Michael Ottosen was on-time, called before he came, immediately recognized the problem, and explained all the options. He answered all my questions and then, after doing the work, made sure everything was working and showed me how to use everything in the new system. He is also friendly and a really nice guy.
