Over the holidays I decided to insulate my garage door myself and broke my aging springs with the added weight (I figured this would happened, but thought it was worth a try). I called Precision Garage Door around 5pm and they had a technician at the house by 8am. The technician, Andy, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and had my door rebuilt in under 2 hours! I couldn’t have asked for better service. From pricing around service over the last couple weeks (as I said, I was pretty sure I was going to end up breaking the door before I insulated it, and I was thinking some other parts were aging poorly and needed replacing), Precision Garage Door’s pricing was competitive and well worth the lack of aggravation and risk of injury of that I would have incurred if I tried to fix this myself. I’m extremely happy with the experience and would recommend this company, and especially Andy, to anyone needing garage door work!

Precision’s price was way too expensive. I would never use them again. How is it that the same exact service to replace a spring on a garage door cost only $200-400 at another repair company, but costs double here? I hope the garage door holds up for how much we paid.

He explained why my garage door had fallen off it’s tracks as well as the three options I had to repair the beast. This was my second time using Precision and I was pleased both times. Andy and Parker (was in training or in apprenticeship) were both very professional and provided great customer service. They were on time, explained everything, and pointed out things that I did that could have been dangerous. They cleaned up and fixed my broken spring and center bearing in about 45 minutes. Andy has a funny personality and explained my options prior to beginning work. Thanks to both!

Precision was very responsive and courteous from my initial phone call through satisfactory completion of my service request. The technician, Greg, was extremely helpful in assessing the condition of all components of my 33 year old 18’ wide garage door. He explained various options and offered professional advice. I elected to have him replace torsion springs, shaft, bearings, cables, rollers, cable reels, and to lubricate all hinges. The door now operates quieter and more smoothly than when it was new. He adjusted my existing garage door operator and verified all safety features. I highly recommend Precision Door.
