My garage door is horrendous and John went over it with a fine tooth comb and showed me the damage and stressed the importance of safety with regard to repairing/replacing the door. Very fast service. I called in the morning and a service man arrived at my house around 2P.M. He diagnosed the problem, gave me a price to fix it and about two hours later the job was done and my garage door is now working like new. Amazing.

Garage door stopped working on Thursday at 2pm. Wouldn’t go up or down. Called Precision Garage Door Service who had technician Garrett Yeager at my home at 6:30pm. Garrett replaced tension springs, spring shaft bearings, and rollers in under 2 hours. The overall cost was reasonable too. Great timely service by a knowledgeable professional technician. Precision Garage Door Service is fantastic! Our garage door opener died due to some electrical malfunction. I made an appointment with Precision and was able to get a replacement opener installed the same day. Evan, the technician, was both super friendly and knowledgeable. He showed me exactly what broke and, after the installation, he walked me through the process of reprogramming all of the remotes and keypad. Whenever we need anymore work done on the garage door, I will absolutely be calling Precision.

I called Precision door company normally they have been very helpful in helping me with my garage door if something does not work. I have always had a very good experience with Precision and I can even call back a few of the guys that have helped me in the past. Gary is always great to work with. However, this time I called because the garage door would not open all the way or close. The tech came out and it was the cable that had broke. I was not informed nor aware I could purchased just the cable and have it installed by a friend, or just have the cable replaced. The tech just said it needed a new cable and it comes with the rail, I asked the price, and was shocked, a tiny discount was offered, and the total cost was 441.00, that took less than 20 minutes. My issue is this - I called Gary and asked him about all of this and asked why wasn't I offered another solution to order the part which normally at any Home Depot, Lowes or on line the price is about 50.00. Which would have saved me almost 400.00. I am definitely not happy with the service or the tech that came out, he even tried to offer me a new motor for a total of over 800.00. It isn't even quiet. The tech just kept telling me my motor is old and I should get a new one. The tech also informed me when I purchased the garage doors and now they are more than double the price of what I paid. Not sure what all this had to do with getting a cable fixed on the garage door opener. Now, I just purchased another garage door opener - a Chamberlain MYQ with all the bells and whistles the whole unit, (with a motor 1/2 hp of course) for under 200.00, had it installed and it is much quieter than the one Precision put in. Having spend 441.00 of my money could have been avoided had the tech been a very honest and sincere person. I am 74 years old, senior, retired and party of one, felt like I was taken advantage of. Feel free to refund my full amount and take out the rail/cable that was not necessary and I'll get a whole new unit for half the price installed, and a more updated version. That's my problem solved.
