The spring on my garage door broke over the holidays so I went on the Precision doors website and scheduled a 10am appointment for 1/2/25. Fast forward to 1/2 about 5 after 9 Andy called me to ask if they could come about a half hour early which was great for me. Andy and Aaron explained everything that needed to be done and offered up options including the minimum to get my door working again as well as other options to ensure long trouble free operation. Once we settled on what I wanted they went straight to work. The repair took a little under 2 hours and my garage door has never been smoother or more quiet. Andy and Aaron were true professionals, I highly recommend using Precision Door for your garage door needs.

I have no problem with the work they do. This is a big company with dispatchers and a lot of overhead. I needed a new remote control programmed and an old-one reprogrammed. Had trouble doing it myself. I was told it was $99 for a service call. Upon arrival, I was told re-programming remote controls were $150 regardless of how many were being programmed. They would waive the service fee. It took them less than 15 minutes to set the remote controls. The company insists on doing a complete "safety check" regardless if anything is wrong with your garage door. Then you have to sign off on their portable tablets. With tax it was $160.88 to set 2 remote controls to the garage door and fill in all the paperwork they required. They were done in less than 30 minutes. No, I will not be calling this company again.

Precision garage door service provided me with a timely repair when our residential garage door spring failed. Scotty Johnson their technician called before he arrived, was well skilled and completed his task in a very timely manner. The only room for improvement is the final cost was more than the estimate. That was not Scotty’s fault, I suggest any future phone estimates should cover a range to help set expectations.

John Patton was the service technician who provided maintenance and repair services for our garage door. He did a great job of explaining all of our service options, and he did a really good job carrying out the option we chose. Our garage door is now opening and closing very smoothly. Garrett and co-worker were very courteous and professional. Showed me exactly why my door was no longer working and what needed to be replaced. Door was 20 yrs old, so everything was pretty much wore out. Replaced motor, springs, bearings etc and were gone in less than 2 hrs. I will definitely recommend the Precision Team!

He initially concluded that the problem was a bad door sensor but then also found that there was a short in the wiring.
