Where do I begin…PGDS of Raleigh and the service technician John simply put is/was outstanding, professional, honest and efficient in resolving my broken garage door and giving me a better understanding on the health of my garage door. Scott arrived at the agreed upon time and fixed the problem in at most two minutes. If this particular problem (Genie code needed to be reset after batteries were changed) arises again, as it unfortunately certainly will, I will know how to deal with it myself so I can avoid the exorbitant service charge. Scott was friendly, efficient and polite.

They were timely and fixed the problem, but were deceptive on the pricing. They replaced two belts and two rails and charged me $1400. What they didn't tell me, was they charged $200 per door for "service and maintenance." The technician was at my house just over 1 hour -- replaced the belts and did $400 of maintenance? I've called the office a couple times, but no one has returned the call. I was duped and should of known better. Precision wants you to believe they are a home town vendor, but they have a slick presentation and an opaque pricing strategy.

Precision replaced an old door opener just over a year ago and I recently had a small issue with a noisy chain. Scheduled my appointment for next day at 12pm and Thomas called to say he could be there earlier at 1115am. Thomas, my technician identified and corrected the problem and was done in 30 minutes. I would recommend Precision any time.

It has been an overall positive experience with Precision Door, but it disheartening to learn that you will no longer honor the lifetime warranty. Great work! Evan was efficient and knows all the details of the operation and installation of the garage door opener. He was able to diagnose and solve our problem and install a new system. He came and did the installation the same day. Our door now moves smoothly. He was very professional and also programmed our remotes and assisted with the application. Called precision door. The came as promised, replaced a broken spring and offered advice on another door. Service person was very efficient, polite and friendly. Will definitely use there service in the future.

The folks from Precision Door took my call quickly, sent email confirmation of my appointment and came right on time for the repairs. I needed replacement of one broken spring (lasted 24 years!) and preventively, I asked them to replace the other door's spring, too. Evan Korel did terrific work and replaced also rod-bearings, lubricated and adjusted all hinges and side tracks. This repair is necessary at some point for all garage doors, but his quality work and added measures will ensure many more years of operation.
