Extremly pleased with Precision Garage Door. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. From our initial call to set an appointment for a sales representative to look at our doors, to internal customer service and communications of process, timeline, scheduling and install; everything they said about timeline and expectations was spot on! Our doors were 27 years old and had both doors, railing, coils relaced along with installing new motors. Andrew was our installer. He did a wonderful job installing the doors as well as explaining about the new insulation, care for the coils and railing and abour our new motors. Again, Precision Garage Doors says it in their name and well deserved ????????????

The sound of a smooth well functioning garage door is truly a beautiful thing, never realize this until ours stopped working. Our technician Richard was great!! explain what was broken. What needed to be replace and got to work right away and was done in about an hour. Would definitely recommend to anyone having issues with theirs.

We called Precision after discovering our door wouldn't open in the morning. Brandon came right out and took a look. He thoroughly explained what did and didn't need to be repaired. He even took a look at my other garage door that was still working but was the same age & ended up needing similar maintenance. He worked quickly and installed a new opener and got everything working perfectly. He made sure we had both doors programmed to keypads, remotes, and cars before he left. He was super friendly and knowledgeable and I will l definitely call them back if I ever have garage door issues again. Highly recommended!

We discovered our old door opener wasn't working in the morning and Brandon came right out to take a look. He quickly figured out the problems and gave us a list of recommended repairs. He also took a look at our other door while he was here and realized it needed similar maintenance. He worked quickly and ended up installing a new opener for us that is MUCH quieter than our old one. Before leaving he made sure all our remotes, keypads, and car buttons were programmed and functioning well. He was very knowledgeable and friendly throughout the whole visit. I will absolutely call Precision again if we ever have garage door issues again!

Five stars for the service rep. Professional, friendly, and fast. 1 star based on the fact I have to buy a keypad through precision and can't use one from the store. $75 visit fee which was not told to me over the phone. So if I decided I didn't want to spend $250 for a keypad I would still get charged $75. Very disappointed in this company and their billing practices. Get a garage door from somebody else so that you don't have to spend $250 to get a keypad if yours brakes.

The call center that handles our scheduling is who you spoke with first. They are supposed to advise you of the $75.00 service fee that will be charged if work is not performed, but would be waived if work is performed. This is a standard fee that almost all service companies charge. All of our calls are recorded so we listened. We apologize that she did not inform you of the fee as she should have and we will address that with the call center. The price of the Marantec keypad wasn't discussed on the call at all. The call center wouldn't have had the pricing for that key pad to provide even if you did ask because they aren't at the job site and wouldn't know what to offer you. As you mentioned in the call, a generic keypad will not work for your motor. We have to specifically order Marantec items to keep in stock to service customers like yourself who have that particular opener. Precision installed your door and opener 10 years ago which you selected with the old owners of the company. Unfortunately, your opener will not work with a universal keypad, but you could have ordered it straight from Marantec and installed/programmed it. We do have to charge a programming fee (which was part of the $250.00) to do this for customers unless it's under warranty, but your warranty was up. Again, we are sorry you're unhappy with the price and if you would like to discuss further, please call and speak with our service manager.

Five stars for the service rep. Professional, friendly, and fast. He did a great job. One star for the company. Was not told over the phone that a new garage door keypad to be installed would cost $250. Was also not told that I would get charged $75 just for the service rep showing up. Once he told me $250 I almost turned him away but then he said you're going to get charged $75 just for me showing up. Was told that it has to be a special type of keypad entry system and that I couldn't get one at the store. Would not recommend this company at this time. Very disappointed in their billing practices.

I called Precision on Monday afternoon and they were here the following morning. Paul was excellent. He explained my options and had the job completed within a couple of hours. He showed me what the issue was once he had it apart, ensured the garage worked perfectly once everything was installed, assisted me installing the app on my phone and getting it set up for me and my daughter to use, and he synced all my vehicles to the garage. He was very thorough and provided excellent service. I highly recommend these guys if you need garage repairs.

We just had Scotty and Paul out to give an estimate for new openers for our house in Chapel Hill. While there, Scotty did a great job of explaining the condition of my existing (20 year-old) mechanics and, without hard-selling, explained the benefits of updating the springs, etc., along with the openers. We agreed with their assessment and he and Paul started immediately. The job was done in a few hours and they explained how everything worked, including connecting with the App which controls the doors. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service (and Scotty and Paul, in particular).
