PRECISION is the best choice in bluffton for a complete range of garage door solutions. Honest, priced fairly and excellent technicians. they replaced 3 garage door pulleys, one set of springs and installed 3 new motors and intuitive remotes that enable closing and opening doors from an app and tell you when a door was opened and for how long (think amazon deliveries that you do not want left piling up on your porch). Now the heavily insulated doors have the right power and you can barely hear them open and close. Great job all around.

I got same day (weekend evening) service for broken garage door springs and I opted to refresh the unit with new bearings and got part of the track repaired from a prior incident that left it damaged. I also got a new motor and belt drive installed to upgrade the 17 year old chain drive that can be heard throughout the whole house. Greg was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He presented several repair strategies ranging from cheapest fix to get the door operable again to increasingly more robust refurbishment...without being pushy towards higher priced packages. I am naturally curious and I enjoyed watching and learning a few tricks from the pros:. A torsion spring winder and a track anvil are two pretty awesome tools to see! He even showed me a shortcut for installing my roller wheels (I purchased separately) without popping the hinges off. Great service and the new garage door system is so much quieter now!

I’m not happy at all. I called Precision thinking I would pay the $75 trip charge and would get my garage door motor fixed, but was told it would cost me $149 to put in a new circuit board because I had already ordered it straight from Liftmaster and their were no guarantees it would work. They said I could pay $600+ for a new garage door motor with a 4 year guarantee, so I just paid the $75 trip charge and did it myself. The commercial for Precision looks grea and professional, but I wasn’t impressed with the customer service I received.

The technician did not even open or close the garage door, to check it. Instead, his attempt was only to upsell. Telling us that we should replace the entire garage door! & that even if he repairs whatever he was trying to sell us, the engine was going to die! Not surprising, the technican did not notice the obvious, our springs need replacing & a roller was missing. Precision Door Service charged us $75, to show up & upsell. No work done, no services rendered. We then used another company, in Fayetteville, that charges customers only for work preformed.

Scheduling an appointment was quick and easy. The service tech was on time and extremely knowledgeable. He gave me several options for fixing the problem and explained each one in detail. Then he fixed all the issues, cleaned up like he had never been there. It was a great experience. I would highly recommend this company
