Andy did a great job and came very quickly which I really appreciate. The reason I gave only 3 stars was that the price seemed very high for what was done. When I called, they told me it would be a $95 diagnostic fee and if they had to do work, that fee would go toward the cost of the work done. The diagnostic feel included an inspection of our doors. I was fine with that. Turns out they only apply the service fee if the cost of the work is $250 or more. So it was $95 for the call plus $150 which is the minimum for any work done. They may have said that and I just missed it but either way, that seemed very high. I would have expected the $95 plus the difference between the $150 and would have been pleased. As it was, I felt a little bit deceived and taken advantage of. I would use them again as they do provide good service but would be more selective in what I use them for.

Glad we chose Precision Garage Door for our repair. Garage Door Technician John Patton was a pleasure to work. Knowedgable and provided detailed information with our specific garage, age, condition of springs, rollers, opener, etc. After receiving a few options including the replacment of our broken spring, it was an easy decision to get the full tune up as the system was close to 20 years old. What a difference after all was complete. Operation was smooth and so much quieter. Also love that they install Liftmaster Garage Door Openers along with the myQ automation. Works well with Amazon for secure package delivery.

We had a lot more work needed than was expected and he was empathetic when explaining the price and very clear about the work that needed to be done and why. I definitely got taken advantage of and swindled with Precision Garage Door. On October 20 I had technician Andy come out and he did a tune up of our garage door, replaced 1 car clicker and replaced a keypad and the total was $640. I have gotten inspections and quotes from 2 other companies and their pricing for the same service are all $250 or less. He did say our garage motor is old. He never said that it seriously needs to be replaced, just simply gave me a quote. Less than 2 months later, clickers and keypad aren't working. The quote to replace the whole system from Precision was $1100. The quotes I have gotten from the other two companies are $745 and $856. Overall I'm very unhappy. In the moment I didn't realize how much I was overpaying. Will now always recommend AGAINST Precision.
