Chris did an outstanding job. Our door behaved badly at a particularly inconvenient time (is there ever a good time?). We needed prompt service and Precision provided it the next morning. Chris showed up on time and dealt with the issue in a professional and courteous way. What's not to like? We would call Precision before anyone else!

Hi, I appreciate your expediated service when my garage door had urgent problems. The service man was knowledgeable. He had the right tools needed to fix the door. He was courteous. He was timely in getting the problem resolved. He showed me what wrong and what he needed to do to repair it. I have used Precision before in South Carolina that is why I called you here. I wanted to get the same quality service and a trustworthy service man(Tim). It was an expensive but necessary repair.

Great experience from start to finish! The rep/technician, Chris, came the same day that I called. He assessed the situation and discussed options with me. I chose to have both openers replaced, so we scheduled a date for the service. I think he would have done the service that initial visit day, but I decided to do both doors instead of just one, which took more time. He arrived right on schedule the day of the installation and finished in the time frame promised. I'm enjoying my quieter doors that no longer jerk when opening--I couldn't be more pleased!

Our garage door got stuck 1/3 open on a Friday night. I called the company who had always serviced our door and they gave me a run around. They asked for pictures and a video. They said maybe they could come the next morning with equipment but now they'd just rude over in their car without equipment if that's what I wanted. So, I got fed up and called Precision. The lady said they have emergency service and she could have someone here in about an hour. A delightful young man showed up in a truck with full equipment. He worked two hours, replaced our broken parts, and the door is now like new. Of course Precision is now our permanent garage door company. Their service was perfect.

Overpriced and Misdiagnosed. I had a very frustrating experience with this company. They misdiagnosed the issue with my garage door and tried to upsell me on a completely unnecessary full garage door replacement. Initially, they claimed the problem was with the opener and recommended replacing it. I had to insist they check the springs as well and it turned out they need to replaced as well. They also charged a "trip/inspection" fee, which supposedly included a 24-point inspection — but it felt more like a justification to charge rather than provide value. In the end, I lost the trip charge but went with a different service provider who fixed it quickly, and charged significantly less. Better quality, honest service elsewhere. I would not recommend this company.

We have used precision in the past and didn’t realize we were being overcharged by such a large amount. We requested service on 1016 to have two springs replaced on our garage door and the estimate was $1200 which is 3 1/2 to four times more than the second and third estimates that we got for the exact same work. Even though it cost us $95 to have your technician come out there we still saved money. That’s why we did not elect to use your company.
