On a Friday evening I was able to easily set up a service appointment for Saturday with Precision Garage Doors through their website. They called on Saturday morning and were able to move the appointment up 4 hours, which was great, since my wife’s car was stuck inside our garage. The technician came out out promptly and got the broken door open and quickly freed the car, and gave us a detailed diagnosis of the door/spring repairs that were needed. We were able to use a coupon, and everything was handled professionally. Very satisfied!

The service technician arrived promptly on time, had my problem corrected in about 5 minutes and was very professional. I also asked him to service and lubricate the two doors. I have no complaint except the charge which I thought was exceptionally high. The charge was about $325 to make the correction on the door and then to service and lubricate the doors. The service tech said that the work needed to be repeated about every 6 months. I guess I'll have to learn to do it myself with possibly help from You Tube.

Ricky Sanchez was great! Called to see if I wanted him to stop by earlier, but I was out and about. Showed up on time, explained the fix, and presented options. Took maybe an hour and walked me through what he did and instructions on maintaining everything in good working order. Definitely recommend!

My garage door all the sudden got stuck. I called Garage Door Service and paid $95 for the call. The guy, Tim, arrived and offered to replace the problem (torque) for a minimum of $1,800, but if I wanted a better quality it would have been $2,300, all fixable on spot. At that point I said it was too much for my pockets. I called another business while he was still there and they quoted me about $400. I kindly declined Garage Door Service's quote. My car was stuck in the garage since the garage door would not open. Since I paid for the call I asked Tim to at least help me opening the garage door so I could get my car out of the garage. I specified I need my car to go to work and take my son to school. He refused to help me. I'm very disappointed on how money prevailed on kindness and ethical business. I don't need to add anything else...

Fantastic experience with the company and with the technician, Greg. Our old door broke in such a way that we couldn't even use the emergency release. The car got stuck inside at 8pm. Within an hour we had an appointment for the next day. Greg was friendly and installed everything professionally.

I had a great experience with Precision Garage Door of Raleigh. I've had an ongoing issue with my garage door: it gets jammed, and I have to readjust it. After some research, I decided to go with Precision. I was able to book a same-day appointment online, and the technician, Jonathan Comstock, arrived on time. After some troubleshooting, it was determined that the motor was failing. He gave me a quote for a chain-drive unit and a belt-drive unit. I decided on the belt drive unit. The surprising part was that he had all the parts with him, so after about 2.5 hours, I had a working garage door. I also had him service my other garage door. And he took the old garage door opener and all the trash with him. I highly recommend Precision and Jonathan.

John Patton listened carefully to my observations of the remote controls losing their ability to communicate with the motor mechanism. He gave me reasonable options that were readily evaluable. I chose the option that I felt would work best for me at this time. He gave me a document that assists me in the future as to the current state of my 15 year old system. The new system works great. In addition, I have a very small dog that loves to meet new people and make a new friend. He was very kind to her and I appreciated that he absolutely made her day.

Great installation team. Our garage door was replaced with a much nicer quality door. I'm sure we'll notice a big temperature change (summer & winter) in the garage from having an insulated door now. This was a great experience from start to finish. One of the springs on my garage door broke on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. I called Precision on Sunday, fully expecting that I would have to leave a message. Not so fast. Someone answered, so at this point, I expected an answering service. Not the case! The young lady on the phone was able to book an appointment for me on the next day, which happened to be Memorial Day Monday. I asked if there was an additional charge for a holiday and was told that there wasn't. So, we were off to a great start. Monday comes and Andy came to the house and he was on time and the communication about his visit was more than adequate. Andy was very knowledgeable and explained what needed to be repaired and offered a couple of options. The fix and the fix it right. There was no pressure to select the higher priced option. I was just given the information so I could decided. I chose the fix it right option. Andy had to order springs because my door is so big and heavy (who knew?). Once they were in, he promptly returned to get us up and working. There was an issue with the custom springs, but Andy handled that quickly and was back later the same day to complete the repairs. Its almost like I have a new door! All in all, a great experience. 10/10, would recommend.

I had Precision come out for a repair on my garage door. The technician was very nice, but the prices I was quoted were extremely high and for items that ultimately didn't need to be fixed. The repair they performed didn't fix the issue. I had to use a different company that came out and did the repair for a much lower price and told me the things I was quoted for by Precision weren't necessary.

The service was outstanding. Andy the lead technician was great to work with. He did a thorough examination of the door and tested resting weight of the door which was high. He recommended replacement springs due to the age of the same. He had custom springs ordered and brought back for installation the same day. I wish I had this service experience with the other contractors that I have worked with in the past!
