My garage door spring broke on Sunday evening leaving my car stranded in the garage. I Googled to find someone to fix it and found Precision Door Service Web Page had a Chat window open. I had a brief conversion with the chat agent that resulted in an appointment for 8-10 AM the next day. Kenneth came by at 9 and checked out the situation and provided the finished price. My 19 year-old garage door opener had been making an increasingly loud grinding noise, so I decided it was time to let it retire. I went online, requested a callback, and by 3 PM that same Saturday afternoon Cliff Waddell, of Precision Garage Door Service arrived ready to perform the installation of our replacement “opener". The job completed in slightly over an hour, with no charge for overtime. (I ask lots of questions.) He answered them all, politely, effectively, professionally. His instructions on use of the opener’s features were clear and simple. I also keep an eye out for signs of careful craftsmanship, proper dressing of wires and smoothness of installation. Cliff, did all those things to my complete satisfaction. He lubricated the overhead door springs and tightened all bolts. This PDS 370 opener (made in Germany, by Marantec) is amazingly quiet. Without exaggeration, we had to turn off the floor fan in the garage in order to hear the door open and close. Without reservation I recommend PDS, and Cliff's services.

I had a broken spring and took a chance and called them last week. Josh was my tech and he was great. Knowledgeable, experienced and patient as i made my decision on the overhaul instead of just changing the broken spring. Took me a minute because of the cost but i went with it since all the parts came with a lifetime warranty. When he was done which did not take him long he lubricated everything, and cleaned up like he was never here. He even taught me a few things about my opener. Totally would recommend them and when my motor goes i know who i will be calling.

Spring broke but it was under warranty as well as the manual rope handle. Scott Lowder the Technician repaired both and all I had to pay was the service charge and I even had a coupon to help with that. Thank goodness for the limited lifetime warranty or I would have been out $400.00 plus dollars for a repair bill. Jack Lowe
