Service was prompt and quality of work was satisfactory but felt I overpaid. If you have the time in a non urgent situation, would definitely recommend getting other quotes from companies that don't charge a fee for estimates (and there are many). Precision currently charges $95 for the service call that is waived if you go ahead with an estimated service over $250. This puts you behind the eight ball to start if you want to go elsewhere. I gave them a try given their advertising but won't make that mistake again. I should have read their 2-3 star reviews that had other customers feeling they overpaid as well.

On Tuesday morning around 8:30 AM I walked into my garage and tried to open the garage door. It went up half way and stopped. I tried resetting the circuit breaker. Nothing helped. I called Precision Overhead Garage Door Service a little after 9:00 AM to say my Lift Master garage door opener that was installed back in 2007 had quitting working. Precision had a service technician at my house my 10:30 AM. The service technician diagnosed the problem and gave me my options. I selected the LM6690L Quiet Belt Drive garage door opener from Lift Master. The service technician had one in his truck. He installed the new garage door opener and taught us how to use the new Remote Controls by 11:45 AM. We’ve been using the new Lift Master garage door opener for almost a week now and we’ve been extremely happy with it and the service we received.

My house was built in 2013 -- garage door itself is like new and not the problem but the hardware associated with it over time failed (normal wear and tear usage). Spring broke late evening and I called (Holly) at Precision she was excellent, listened to my problem and scheduled me for the next day. Chris arrived in a timely manner after calling me per my request 30 minutes prior to arrival at my home for the repair. He not only identified the obvious broken spring but visually showed me other areas that needed immediate attention (very in depth visual inspection and eye opening to myself). Replaced everything recommended by this very knowledgeable Technician and Very Satisfied with the out come. Chris not only made my door operate smoothly and quietly that day but gave me a (FREE) eyes on inspection 1 year from the date of repair to insure all repairs were holding to their value. Being retired military (cross the T's dot the I's) and working currently at a major car dealership (Facility Manager position) -- I was impressed at the training and knowledge of every department I delt with at Precision -- High recommendation of this company to anyone that needs any garage door service, repair or replacement. Asked during appointment scheduling if this was a locally owned family business, which the operator confirmed. While it may have been a family business at one point in time, this is now an entity owned by Neighborly. My concerns with hiring a franchised business under a large conglomerate and the associated higher costs to pay for their overhead and large margins were immediately realized when I paid 600 for new rollers and minor adjustment to the pulley/chain. Will be sure to do more research in the future to ensure I support a true, locally owned small business.
