Great experience from start to finish! The rep/technician, Chris, came the same day that I called. He assessed the situation and discussed options with me. I chose to have both openers replaced, so we scheduled a date for the service. I think he would have done the service that initial visit day, but I decided to do both doors instead of just one, which took more time. He arrived right on schedule the day of the installation and finished in the time frame promised. I'm enjoying my quieter doors that no longer jerk when opening--I couldn't be more pleased!

The entire process from booking the appointment to completion of the work could not have been easier. Using the web based app, I was able to make the appointment at my convenience without issue. From there, I was kept informed and reminded of my upcoming service call. The technician Chris, arrived on time and was courteous and professional. He performed his diagnostic check and prepared options for my review. He explained his recommendations and I never felt any pressure to choose one option vs. another. He was able to complete the service call and replace the worn parts. I could not have been more satisfied. I will recommend Precision Door to my neighbors.

I called Precision Garage Door Service early in the morning, stating I had a door that wouldn't open, other than manually. A technician arrived within a couple of hours and quickly diagnosed several issues. He walked through everything with me, explaining options with varying costs. I selected a path forward and the technician immediately began replacing virtually everything but the door panels and track. He said he would be able to finish in under two hours and he did.

Sharing my experience with Precision Garage Door Service of Raleigh. 2 stars, only for the prompt response. Not calling or recommending Precision to anyone for sure. My garage door was derailed and the tension string came off from the pulley/drum. The door was half open and I could not take the car out. I called Precision based on Google reviews. Chris came and told my wife that the door is broken and needs complete replacement. He said $95 for diagnostic which will be rolled into the repair cost, $300 for 1 time door open and close to get the car out, $3000 for door replacement. Prices w/o taxes. We were shocked as the door had no damage. I called Ben from Bens Garage Door. He came, fixed the door, and charged me $150 total. In addition, he sprayed anti-rust and lubed the door hinges for free of charge. He said the door is fine and does not need any replacement. 150 vs 3000, you be the judge.
Hi there! Thank you for your review. We're glad we were able to assist you promptly in getting your garage door closed and securing your home as it was stuck open. As we discussed during the visit, the bottom style of your door was bent. For safety reasons, we do not recommend bending it back into place, as this compromises the structural integrity of the door. Also, as discussed, we unfortunately do not carry your specific brand of replacement panels, which limited our repair options we could provide you. Offering a new door was the safest and most reliable solution we could provide. Thank you for your business and please keep us in mind should you need any future repair needs. I sent an email Thursday morning, shortly after my garage door spring popped. 20 minutes later, I got a phone call, to schedule for Friday morning. Friday morning, I was ready to replace the whole system; I am not very knowledgeable on garage doors and their hardware..Andy was prompt, friendly, and shared his professional opinion on my garage door's life, in which he recommended only replacing the springs. Andy replaced the springs for me in 30 minutes, and my garage door works better than it has in the ownership of my home. All in all, my 5 star review consists of a few things, Andy's honesty for what my system needed vs didn't need, the speed of service, and the friendliness of service. I recommend Precision Garage Door of the Triangle to anyone. 5/5. An update, years later, we had some issues with our garage door opener’s belt. I scheduled for a Sunday — Chris arrived on time, immediately identified the problem, went through the whole system, and had it fixed within an hour. Again, amazing service.
