John Patton listened carefully to my observations of the remote controls losing their ability to communicate with the motor mechanism. He gave me reasonable options that were readily evaluable. I chose the option that I felt would work best for me at this time. He gave me a document that assists me in the future as to the current state of my 15 year old system. The new system works great.
