John came out the very next day after I called. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He replaced both keypads on our two garage doors. They were 20 years old and working great. I also had some other questions that he was able to answer. Very nice person. John made sure the garage doors were working and we tested them multiple times before he left. He explained the work that he was doing and the price was very much in line with what was quoted in the estimate when I called to schedule the appointment.

John Patton was the technician assigned to our service. He was right on time, assessed our needs and explained options and recommendations. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. I am the type of person that wants to watch and try to understand what work is being performed. Not only was John okay with me being present He explained what he was doing and never slowed down from getting the job done. He was one of the "best" service technicians we have ever dealt with. I contacted Precision Door when my garage door spring broke. After trying to DIY fix it, I called for quote to fix/replace. The phone was answered by a person and an appointment was made for the next day. Representative (John) showed up as promised, explained the failures related to the door and assembly (30 years old mind you), and all aspects of the estimate to replace the door and opener, and verified that the selected door was in stock. Door will be replaced within 2 days of quote. I called Precision as they have a good reputation, are responsive and insured.

We were very satisfied with our experience. We had a garage door malfunction that occurred at 3:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon, in which the door was halfway closed and jammed so that we could not get our cars out. I went to Precision's website which was easy to use to schedule service that same afternoon. The technician arrived as scheduled, was knowledgeable and courteous and diagnosed the problem quickly. He gave us a quote for the work to repair the door with options. We elected to go with the "best" option because our door was old and had not been serviced in a long time. He completed the repair work that afternoon and our garage door was up and running again.
