Lucas Fisher was the representative that surveyed my garage doors/openers. I believe that he was honest with no hard sales tactics. I relied on his recommendations and asked him to proceed with fixing the springs, cables and pulleys on my larger door. He then proceeded to replace my two garage door openers. Since one door was smaller than the other, he recommended one size (hp) for one and a larger (hp) for the large wooden door. He also recommended a special floor seal for the larger door since there were gaps on either side of the center which could allow varments and weather to enter. He also made sure that all remotes worked. Overall very pleased with Lucas’ work.

My initial service call request was for a general review to correct a problem where I could not manually release the doors in the event of a power outage. Lucas came out and did his best to adjust the release mechanism but told me that the openers were too old to find replacement parts. He also reviewed both doors for any other issues. He found that the larger door had an old big spring(s) that were prone to fail at some point. And found frayed cables. The openers were old and likely overdue for replacement. So Lucas did it all; new openers, new parts (for the items noted above). He also programmed all remotes; in the cars, the hand remotes, and the exterior remote key pads. Obviously I thought the price was reasonable; otherwise I would not have bought the service. Was it a great price? I did no comparison shopping so I have no idea. But I feel confident it was fair.

Luke introduced himself professionally. I gave him a description of the garage door noise symptoms. He quickly diagnosed the root cause and lubricated the springs and rollers. Moreover, he demonstrated the location of all the lubrication points. He performed a safety test of the emergency reversal in the event of a child or obstacle was present. The Precision Garage Door team did a great job helping us with our garage door needs. The existing wooden door was installed in 1986. It was sagging in the middle and the wood joints were loose so it made a lot of noise when opening and closing. It needed replaced so I did my due diligence and got 5 quotes from around the area.
