They staff at Precision Garage Door Service of Raleigh outstanding. They are not out to just sell you an entire NEW garage door every time something happens. John did an outstanding & fantastic job for us today. Their technician recognized the issues after a brief inspection and repaired the damaged section with ease! With only minor damage, other companies wanted to replace the entire door with one that did not match, also have us wait 3-4 weeks, and charge over 3 times as much!

John Patton, of Precision Overhead Garage Door Service, provided outstanding support and corrected a MyQ issue even though it was quite complicated. Years ago, my MyQ app lost connectivity with my Master Lift garage door opener. I spent no less than two hours on the phone with a MyQ representative trying to troubleshoot the issue and got nowhere. I gave up until last week when I called Precision Overhead Garage Door Service. They assigned John Patton to the project. He exhibited a highly professional and skilled level of expertise in troubleshooting the issue, even opening the box on a new garage door opener, plugging it in and trying to connect to my Wi-Fi to rule out any issue with my garage door opener. He discovered the issue was with my Wi-Fi router. When I applied the change to my router that he recommended, my myQ app connected with no problem. What MyQ Customer Service and I could not do in two hours, John Patton achieved in only a few minutes. I highly recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door Service, and particularly John Patton, to provide all of your overhead garage door service needs.

When my garage door wouldn't close all the way, and I tried but couldn't fix it, I googled garage repair in Raleigh and chose Precision from the website. Called and explained the problem, and was scheduled for a technician to come out later that day, which was a pleasant surprise. The technician, John Patton, called shortly after and was nearby some came over sooner than I could have hoped. He diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly - roller was coming off the tracks. Before leaving he provided an estimate to replace the garage door. The charge for repair was very fair. It was great meeting John, and I would recommend your company highly.

We had a problem with our garage door opening and closing correctly, so I went online and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. John called the following morning and arrived before noon. He quickly diagnosed the problem and we discussed options. He then generated quotes that we accepted and he began work. He replaced the springs and rollers plus made some other improvements. Now the door works correctly and is much quieter. Repaired in less than 24 hours!

The technician was great, service as well. I got an estimate from the office for repairs and the response was $200-350 per spring repair. The technician then quoted me $1,300, $1,600, or $1,900 based on level of service. 2-3X the email estimate. I challenged the technician and he said I had two springs and they would also need to replace the wires and bearings. He was very qualified, but I was frustrated to expect a repair of $600-700 and then the lowest repair quoted felt like an upsell instead of basic repair.

When the 30 year old spring on our garage door snapped on a Friday afternoon leaving the garage door stuck shut we knew we needed to get it fixed asap. Precision had spots available that day and Saturday. And when John arrived he clearly knew what he was doing, gave us a couple options and promptly fixed it. If I had the time to shop around I probably could have gotten it done for less but I didn’t have time and they did a great job getting the door working again.

Great and prompt service. Called first thing Monday morning and they had a tech out by 10:30. Repair need was obvious, but the tech quickly had the estimate with multiple well laid out options based on my standard setup and age of the garage system. Tech walked through each options and clearly explaining the “what and why” of the parts with each option. Pricing was on par with others in the area. The repairs were completed the same day. Josh the technician also went above and beyond with adjusting/lubing other components not being replaced to ensure as smooth of operation as possible.

Exceptional service provided by John Patton, but started with great phone conversation with Customer Service (Ms. Gracia?), followed with informative visit "heads up" message, listing the Technician's name and picture. Our door (installed by other Company, now out of business) was a notch up from the "bare" contractor grade, but the original hardware was cheap, worn out, and causing issues (likely contributing to the spring breakage; the reason we called). John politely and patiently presented us with three clever options, from bare fix (but with better grade components) to complete hardware swap and extensive tune up). We were happy with our selection, and John also left us with professional recommendations, which I will put to use immediately. I specifically requested a "door sticker" and a business card, but certainly will never forget whom to call, when professional-grade service or maintenance is needed.
