Precision Garage Door Service of Holly Springs

A spring broke on our garage door. Evan, the technician, did a great job of replacing the springs as well as replacing worn parts (door is 30+ year old). When he was done, the mechanism works better than it has in years.

Called out on Easter Sunday to repair main garage door which stopped working. Technician (Ricky) clearly explained the issues and offered suggestions for correcting the issues. Wound up replacing the springs and head unit on the main door. Cleaned everthing up and provided assistance in reprogramming the outside pad and and in car links.

My garage door stopped opening while the motor kept trying to lift it. I called Precision and scheduled a service call. Richard McCann was the technician that came to the house next day and right on time. I described the problem to him and he knew exactly what the problem was (broken spring). He provided several different options to complete the repair and was ready to complete the job the same day. Richard was very professional and transparent about what needed to be done and explained the multiple options in great detail. Precision Garage Door Service is fantastic! Our garage door opener died due to some electrical malfunction. I made an appointment with Precision and was able to get a replacement opener installed the same day. Evan, the technician, was both super friendly and knowledgeable. He showed me exactly what broke and, after the installation, he walked me through the process of reprogramming all of the remotes and keypad. Whenever we need anymore work done on the garage door, I will absolutely be calling Precision.

Immediate appt. the next morning, totally positive experience. Aaron Sweet called first thing in the morning to confirm the appt. He evaluated the replacement situation and fixed the door quickly. I was optimistic that calling this company would save me some time and I would pay a fair price for repairs to my overhead door. Joke is on me. I had to pay $100 (trip charge) just to get a quote for $1500 to replace torsion springs and rollers. “Labor is only $150 though.” SMH. I’ll do it myself this weekend. Disappointed because I know how much the materials actually cost. Smoke and mirrors sales game.

I had broken springs repaired11/10/24. Called Precision and was promptly scheduled for repair. Paid $1,300 for the repair. More expensive than I remembered for previous repairs over the years, but I chose not to get additional quotes for repair. Evening of 12/10/24, I came home and closed the garage door. As the door closed, the door came of the tracks and failed to close properly. Upon closer inspection, the door had also pulled at the bracing between the top of the door and the connection to the garage door opener chain. Obviously, I called Precision to get it checked out again. I had also recalled the tech saying he had adjusted the tracks during the initial repair. I assumed as a courtesy. When I chatted online and called directly, I explained prior service and the current issue. I would have expected, given such a recent service and at such expense, I would have been told we will get someone out asap to take a look. Dissapointed that I was obviously chatting with and speaking to a scheduler who was just giving me the next available time. The soonest that would work was days later. Contacted another Company and they came out with hours and got the door functioning again. Icing on the cake was the tech saying I had paid twice what they would have charged to replace the spings. Just left an overall bad feeling

We called Precision Garage Door because our garage door came off the rails suddenly and we couldn't get it to close. Called their 24/7 line and Chris came the next morning and got it to close and then a couple of days later, Jonathan came out to replace the garage door. I liked that their response time and service were prompt, both men were courteous and professional, and they gave you a call 30 minutes to let you know they are on their way.
