The $262 price discussed applies to standard extension spring replacements. Upon arrival, our technician found that your door uses a torsion spring system, which requires different parts and a different repair process, resulting in a higher replacement cost. We also spoke with the technician and apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the call center’s role. His intent was to explain that our representatives cannot determine the exact spring type over the phone without seeing the door, which is why final pricing is confirmed during the onsite inspection. Our goal is always to provide clear pricing information so our customers can make an informed decision before moving forward with a repair.
