Let me first say our technician was wonderful. Highly recommend I needed to get two springs installed. That went great The price was $600. I consider that to be well silly I did pay it but not sure I would use these guys again They were great but the price is too high

After reviewing the ticket for your job, I see that you were quoted for two platinum, high cycle, powder coated springs. Our springs are higher quality and have a typical life span that is 3-4 times longer than springs our competitors sell. Our technicians review the quote with customers on every call before any work is done, so in case there are questions, they can get answered before work is started. It is too early to write a review. I have to see if the garage doors work better and if so, for how long. I was very unhappily surprised by the bill, which was three times what I thought I had authorized. Mike, the Service Représentative was knowledgeable and answered my questions. He then recommended new ball bearings for one of the doors. I thought I had authorized $250 to be spent. My husband paid him and told me the bill was $700. That was for two doors ball bearings replacement and a tuneup. That is $450 more than what I expected and absolutely a budget killer. I am not happy. I should have required a written estimate prior to authorizing the work. He should have told us what the total estimated amount would be. Saying « I am not happy » is putting it mildly. Very mildly.

Son in law couldn’t open garage door while we were out of country. Said he may have hit the # sign instead of enter Sign and wondered if he somehow changed code. I had no idea how to change code. The pad worked to close door but just would not work to open with code. Was hoping since I was a long time customer you might have suggested how to check the code or change it back if it had been changed by mistake. Technician looked at it and said the pad looked old and they wear out quickly. But the new one would work with any new motor if we needed one later. Made it sound like a better pad. I said ok to new pad and was totally surprised when the replacement was the exact same as old one and when he told me how to put in the code, he told me to do the exact thing that I told him my son in law said he had done that might have changed the code. So he up sold me to the tune of $284 when he could have simply said try this and see if it works. Give him a star for the up sale, but mark me off as a future customer and I will tell as many people about this as I possibly can. Totally feel victimized!!!!’

Based on the inspection your keypad failed and the recommendation was to replace it. Some keypads we have look the same as the old one but the updated version has updated internal parts that the old one did not, which would, like the technician said, make it work with any future motors you might purchase. We do appreciate your business and hope we can work with you in the future.

I chose Precision Door Service from a list of providers recommended from Angie's List. From my selection, Precision Door Service had the most reviews and they were all positive. I called their number and spoke with Tim. He said he could have someone out this afternoon which was great as I was having trouble with one of my sensors. Tim was very professional and personable and happy to help. I then received an email from Precision Door with my appointment confirmation and who the service technician was who would be coming over. The email provided Mike Grove's picture and information so I would recognize him. This was great information for clients. Mike called me to let me know he was on his way. After looking at my garage door he gave me some options for improvement in the operation of the door going forward. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. I decided to go with a door restoration. Mike did the work in the next hour and a half. I could see such an improvement in the door operation and have confidence that this will alleviate worry about the garage door operation going forward. I will contact Precision Door Service for future work. Very impressed with the service I received today from Mike and the company.

We use Precision when we had a garage issue at our last house, and they did great. So when we had an issue with the opener at our newest house, we pulled out the old invoice and called again. Mike was able to come out same day, and even though we were one of his last stops, he committed to and finished a pretty big job, working into the evening to remedy our garage door issues with excellent attention. Kudos!
