Precision really is the greatest, I called early morning and the Richard, our technician was here within the hour. He was a pleasure to work for, he did an amazing job at explaining the damage done to my garage door due to a lightning strike. He made recommendations to have everything repaired to perfection and now my door now runs smoother and much more quieter than ever before. I recommend Richard 10/10!!! :)

I was very pleased with their responsiveness and the tech that came out (Richard) was very personable, knowledgeable and professional. However, in my opinion, the cost to replace my 2 springs and cables was stupid expensive and I’m kicking myself for not shopping around more. I was prepared to pay a certain price based on the loose estimate I was given over the phone but the options I was given by the tech before the work started easily exceeded that. I should have paid the service fee and gone elsewhere, so shame on me. Looking at the price of the parts on Amazon, which I assume this company gets for the same amount or less from whoever their supplier is, you get an idea of the massive markup and labor that is added in. I felt a bit “screwed” all day yesterday and it was the first thing I thought about this morning so it still stings. Good, quick work for sure as I certainly didn’t want to mess w/ dangerous springs having not worked with them before, so I paid for that, but will definitely shop around next time.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and calling us to service your garage door. We did review your account and listened to the recorded call. The scheduler advised you that the price per spring could be between $88.00- $249.00. You were charged $249 per spring and the spring you approved was one of the powder coated, heavy duty, high cycle springs, so they are of course the most expensive of the quoted price. You also had cables replaced and a tune up done on your door which was part of the cost. All of these items/prices were discussed with you and approved before work was started. We completely understand you can find items online for cheaper, but they are not always the same quality as what we purchase to provide our customers. We never want a customer to fee "screwed" which is why the quote is discussed in detail before we start work so you have the option to approve it and move forward, or decline it and seek quotes from other companies. We are happy we could help repair your garage door and we're always here if you need us in the future.

Desperately needed emergency help (residential) well after normal hours to get the garage (2 car) door functioning again. Called Precision at 7:30 pm and was pleasantly surprised to be able to get an appt for 10 pm that very evening. Richard McCann came to the rescue. Richard assessed the situation quickly, provided options to resolve the problems and once a plan was chosen, was extremely efficient in completing the work by midnight ; ( replaced 2 springs, installed new safety cables, new lift motor and track, etc.) Quite impressive , indeed. I highly recommend Precision ( and Richard) for your garage door repair needs.

I want to thank you for sending such a capable and knowledgeable technician, Richard McCann. He was prompt, skillful and offered a solution to the very shoddy work and materials provided by Pulte Homes showed us this issues and clearly explained the solution while offering us options based on cost. The rollers were slacked and ground down due to the door being improperly balanced, the springs were undersized and overwound, and the wheels were too small and made of cheap plastic (they wouldn't stay in the track). We now have a re-worked system that should last for years. We will certainly recommend Precision to our neighbors who undoubtedly will be experiencing similar issues as they had the same shoddy builder. Thank you, Richard and Precision.

Just had my garage Door repaired by Richard and Scotty of Precision Door Service. I am amazed at the professionalism and quality of service. I thought I needed a new garage opener. Long story short, Richard and Scotty found out the issue was the spring assembly. They fixed my door in no time. I definitely recommend Precision Door Service. Very trustworthy team. Richard was fantastic! Arrived early into the estimated window, reviewed the broken spring with me, and pointed out several other problematic items like bearings that had locked up. He talked through different options and their costs and explained every aspect fully and answered all our questions. He fixed it fairly quickly and got it working better than before, then walked through all his repairs and pointed out other things to consider for the future to extend the longevity of the garage door. Will definitely recommend your service to others when asked!

It was explained to me I have a Wayne Dalton system and it would cost $1,300 to replace my springs and I would come out cheaper to call Wayne Dalton. I called Wayne Dalton made an appointment and was quoted a price of $450.00 for repair. Wayne Dalton has their own patented system. If you have a Wayne Dalton door installed and don't want to convert for $1,300 call Wayne Dalton. I was charged a service fee of $40.61
