Very poor service I have never seen in my entire life. I only wanted the torsion shaft to be replaced. I had bought new one. The rollers, pulley cables and torsion springs were in good condition. The technician wanted to replace everything using his company parts. When I asked him the reason behind changing parts in good condition which didn’t need replacement, he said my parts have no warranty. When I asked him how much was the total cost? he told me 1,600 dollars. I declined, he charged me 101 dollars service fee and he left. I called All American and they sent me a technician. The technician was very professional. He told me my garage parts were in good condition they needed no replacement except the broken torsion shaft. He replaced that one with the one in bought. He told me the one I bought was the perfect size. He charged me 400 dollars for everything. He said Precision technician wanted to con/scam me

I will be honest and say that Precision was not the first company I called when I realized I had a problem. I called one of the really known companies in town, but after waiting on hold for over five minutes, I hung up and called. I was very surprised and pleased that I was able to have someone come out the same day! Ryan was very prompt, professional and competent. Chris showed up today to take a look at our 27 year old mechanics because our sensors weren’t working and preventing the door from closing. He presented us with several options including a complete garage door replacement. He didn’t pressure us to make any decision over another. We went with an option replacing our motor, sensors, and adding an external keypad for our home. About an hour later Chris had completed all of the work including a tune up to the remaining existing equipment. The appointment and repairs were all done same day and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Definitely recommend these folks for all your garage door needs.

Pros: Knowledgeable, professional salesperson and great price Cons: None so far We needed to replace two garage doors and motors, so we sought out quotes from three very highly rated businesses, one of them being Precision Garage Door of Raleigh. Here is what I appreciated about my experience so far with this business: - Online booking - fast: On Sunday I went online and booked an appointment for Monday. At the same time, I submitted contact forms for two other businesses (with no online booking option). One called me back on Monday and booked a Tuesday appointment. The other called me back on Tuesday and booked a Wednesday appointment. One point for Precision. - Quality salesperson - Page Ellison: Page showed up at the expected time (after the company sent me a text in advance confirming he was on the way) and took the time to explain my options clearly, understand my priorities, and answer my questions knowledgeably, then made a recommendation based on all of this. Far and away a superior experience. One of the other two companies' salesperson essentially handed me a booklet and told me pick what I wanted. The other was good, but not great when compared with Page. - Great price - online deals: One of my priorities was a well-insulated door, and my research indicated that U-factor was a more relevant metric to look at than R-value (although I encourage you to do your own research). Of the three companies I received quotes from, this was the only one that had doors with U-factors as low as 0.106 or less. The others were closer to 0.2 or higher (with lower numbers being better). Aside from that, the doors quoted were comparable. Despite this, Precision's overall quote came in the lowest(!), largely due to a promotion they were running at the time that was advertised on their website. Based on this positive experience and apparent door quality, I have placed a deposit for the doors and motors, which should arrive in about a month. I'll update this review following the installation.
