I returned from a trip and when I opened my garage door it came off several of the rollers. At approximately 2:00 PM, I googled garage door repair and found your web site which included your many 5-star reviews. Richard McCann showed up at my house at 6:00 PM. He was phenomenal. My 2 car garage door fell off one of the tracks . The first place I called was Precision. There was a $95 service fee, which would be included in the estimate. I was ok with this as it was an emergency situation and they offered same day service. The estimate came out to over $400. Since I was already on the hook for $95 (which is what they're banking on), and they were able to come out so quickly, I agreed to the quote. The job took exactly one hour with one technician, there were no parts that needed to be replaced. The track was bowed and was able to be pulled back into place by hand and the cable had to be reattached. The technician offered a $25 coupon, but after tax it was still over $400. Be aware that this is a franchise company and technicians work primarily on commission so it's beneficial for them to upcharge. There are multiple businesses that offer FREE estimates as well as same day service at a more affordable rate. My technician John Patton was very skilled, but due to the exhuberant pricing I will be going with a different company for future services. Also, I question the validity of so many positive reviews as my first review was deleted after having followed the review link sent to me by Precision which filters through a 'reputation manager' platform called liftify. All the review replies you see are all IA generated using the same software. This time posted my review directly through Google.

However, we wanted to note that our team talked and review internal notes and there doesnt seem to be anything on our end that shouts anything was wrong. As you stated yourself, "..John was very skilled, but due to the.." , we appreciate that! John and our team are skilled and we take great pride in knowing they can always be here to assist and help you! John charged the standard hung door fee ($400) waived the service fee and gave you an additional $25 off. We didnt hear anything directly until this review or in our notes so we are shocked some to hear and see this 1 star. Our estimates and other companies specials are not secret, a lot of them are openly published on websites, social media, in reviews, across brochures and in mailers. This is not a secret and we are glad people have the opportunity to shop around, review their estimates and choose a company that aligns best with them. Precision service man arrived in the first 1/2 hour of the scheduled 4 hour window -- a real surprise & blessing. The service man, Andy Maynard, was friendly, professional, clearly knew his business, worked quickly, and was completed with the required work in 75 minutes. From booking online to a brand new state-of-the-art garage lift installed, I could not be happier. The entire installation was done in about and hour and some change and payment was done simply and on the spot. The lift works with my car and phone and offers so much in terms of ease of use and accessibility. Called out on Easter Sunday to repair main garage door which stopped working. Technician (Ricky) clearly explained the issues and offered suggestions for correcting the issues. Wound up replacing the springs and head unit on the main door. Cleaned everthing up and provided assistance in reprogramming the outside pad and and in car links.

He inspected the door, found the issue and resolved the problem quickly. A new belt and tune up and our garage door is good as new. Highly recommend these guys!
