Sunday afternoon one of our garage door springs broke, making this rather heavy door inoperable. Called Precision around 5pm (on a Sunday) had a technician on site in a little over an hour. Richard McCann handled our problem quickly. His vast knowledge and eye for detail is a great asset to Precision. I appreciate how easy it was to schedule a technician to come out. Andy was great about explaining the issues with our existing garage door opener and presenting replacement options. He worked hard to complete the install in a timely manner. He made sure I was all set up to use the system before leaving.

Scheduling was easy and the response time was great. Richard called prior to his visit and was able to diagnose the primary issue over the phone. Based on that conversation, he was able to show up with the required part and make the repair in one visit versus 2. He worked quickly and was very courteous and professional. We’ll definitely call Precision Door again for future garage door repairs/purchases.

PRECISION DOOR ‘s technician, Gregg, has been to my home on two occasions to work on my malfunctioning garage door and opener. Gregg is an excellent technician and repairman. I got four estimates done while planning this project. Not only was Precision the lowest, but it also seemed like it should have been the most expensive, given the level of organization, professionalism, the "showroom on the truck," etc. Our installer Shane rocked it. I was referred to Precision by a neighbor. The service was fantastic. The technician, Paul, showed up ~1h after my first call! Paul was very professional and courteous. He clearly explained the cause of our problems. He replaced two springs, installed two motors, and even corrected errors that previous installers had committed. Paul also called on additional help from another technician, Mike, and they both completed the job within 2h. After installation, Paul was also very patient in going through the set up of the remotes, keypad, and the Liftmaster app. Very impressive and cannot recommend highly enough!

Everything about the service call experience was great. Jon arrived on time, was really friendly and helped me find the information that my garage door opener replacement was covered by a lifetime warranty from 10 years ago. He worked fast & left no trace, all components were replaced and he showed me how to use everything: keypad & button openers, remotes and even walked me through installing and configuring the MyQ phone app. I was assured that if anything goes wrong in the near term, I can call them and they will be right out to address. A really pleasant experience. Thanks!

The technician took seconds to look at the garage door and made an immediate assessment that it could not be repaired but needed to be totally replaced. He also implied that the door should not be opened as it was totally unsafe, which pressured us to feel we needed to replace the door. However, we contacted a second company whose technician inspected the door for 15 minutes then gave us a complete breakdown of the problems and gave us an estimate for the repairs. He repaired the door in 70 minutes and the cost was 1/3 of what you quoted for replacement. We felt as though he was honored to serve us and did so professionally and financially. First appearances are very important. Thank you!
